Bravery or Foolishness?

I was just waking up from the sun that finally entered my room through the black curtains that covered the window. It was Saturday, and I could already hear the birds singing in the trees outside. I got up and did my normal routine bathroom, closet. I just settled with a red shirt, black sleeveless vest, gloves, pants and red converse, before going down stairs to the kitchen to grab something to eat before heading out for the day. I grabbed an apple for later, putting it in my black mailbag and then picked up my axe bass as I set out to explore another day.

I decided to go explore the forest and head to one of my favorite spots in the forest. I normally go explore different places, but I felt like there was something calling me toward a familiar place today. It's October so its a bit chilly but also the wind is nipping here and there, expectedly at my hair whipping it around. I walked in the orange-ish yellow grass into the woods as the bright colored leaves fell like sprinkled rain. I noted places I would have to go and sketch around this time, it is always a treat to see leaves on the lake, or birds flocking in the sky, especially my Crow friends they always stay in the mansion with me as well as the bats, rats, some cats, all welcome to seek shelter and maybe some spear food I have.

October, the month that holds a certain beauty in another color. I love Halloween going out to scare people and get treats for doing so, only twenty-nine days away. Autumn had started early in September so the trees are in full a ray of warm colors, I then noticed I was nearly there. A cliff side over looking the huge lake, and across from the cliff side is a dead black ash tree growing by a big rock, the tree was always my very favorite spot, especially around this time of year. I felt the ground for a minute feeling the ground shake, as if it was an earthquake...yet it thumbed as if it were a heart beat. I then heard were it was coming from and followed to the old mountain side far from the tree, old devils drop. The mountain was very very tall, and there was an old abandoned mine shaft at the bottom near the base of the mountain.

I went there before it was pretty cool, there were a lot of these blue rocks in the deep part of the cave through a crack in the wall, I went near a cliff edge to get a look at the base of the mountain and saw what looks to be figures fighting. I had jumped over the cliff side and slide on my shoes to a ledge then another till I was finally near the base. I saw robot figures, they were fighting. I didn't know what to make of it except that. I peered over the ledge a little to far and the rock underneath my shoes gave out, I was falling but unexpectedly I fell onto a jet?

I seem to of startled it into a dive, just incase it was an attack I believe. I soon couldn't hold onto it any more since it was now doing barrel roll after barrel roll and then I landed onto another ledge. I had gotten up and saw the jet dive again and....turn into a robot? I didn't know what was going on but it looks like a few of the robots were 'falling back' as they say, into a blue portal off over by the forest edge. I sat on the ledge as I saw what was left of these robots....they weren't normal, no duh, but they looked like they weren't built from this world.

I just sat on the ledge and watched them, the big grey one seemed to look like he was in command. He actually started calling orders, so I assume I was correct, they all seem to now scout the area while two, no, three were making there way up to were I was sitting. I then noticed I was on the ledge, right in front of the old mine. I stared at the mine until I heard, no, felt the earth shake and looked over to the source. The big grey one seemed to be the one making the biggest thumps with his walking, a close seconded is the blue and orange one.

I watched them as they made there way over to the cave, I then moved to sit on a rock not that far from the ledge. They didn't pay attention to me, but the big grey one stopped and looked at me, I had no emotion on my face as I sat crossed-legged on top of the rock.
