Part Of The Team?

"so do you have any blueprints or something. you know that I can look at? I'm just curious." I ask Knockout as he was scanning Screamer. "Yes, actually I have." He hummed going over to what I believe was a cabinet of some sorts, and got a small tablet for me. "That should tell you nearly everything, if you have questions just ask....and may I say that you did a good job frying Screamer's wires." Knockout chuckled, I knew Breakdown had to go get replacements from a storage room on the ship that was near here. I scrolled thru the info, taking it all in. I didn't know how long I sat there but I probably didn't move an inch. 

After a while I got stiff and took a break from reading. I got a lot read, mostly the basics of there biology and repairs. I had to put the tablet down, stand up and crack my back. I heard the popping sounds and saw Knockout who is still fixing Screamer look over. "You alright?" I had nodded and rolled my shoulders, "fine. Just stiff." I replied, I heard Knockout chuckle, "Well you were sitting there for nearly an hour now." I knew it had been a while, but an hour?

That would explain my stiffness. I then walked over to the edge of the huge computer I had sat upon, looking at Knockout work. Soon the seconds turned to a minute and Knockout looked back knowing I was watching..."Would you like to see first hand?" He asked probably had enough of me staring.

I nodded, and added "How about I help if I can?" Knockout smiled probably wanting some 'small' help. Soon Breakdown was back with the wires and we all got into our work, I would help weave the wires from place to place and Breakdown would snip at the lengths. Knockout was instructing us both being the main Doctor, and we finished in no time. "I'm impressed that you fried his wires but not his spark. you would think a shock like that would snuff it." Knockout looked questionably at Screamer than me, I just hummed in thought before saying something. "It was only meant to stun anyway, even at the high voltage. So it wouldn't really go for the main 'power source' unless it had gotten an extra charge. So really it would only make you be 'unconscious' or in a 'coma' like state." I explained.

"Impressive how you got that worked out, your a smart one I'll give you that." Knockout said moving over to the computer. "I'm guessing that's why Megatron hasn't killed you yet." Breakdown said, Knockout gave him a glare as if he wasn't suppose to say anything of it. "Don't worry, I picked up that he wasn't the type for mercy in anyway. Besides I'm more resourceful than most." I said having the attention as I sat at the edge of the 'Berth', "And yet your...staying? You must be brave or arrogant, but your not the arrogant type." Breakdown said moving to lead on the wall.

 "I'm not arrogant correct, but I'm more curious than afraid of the inevitable, such as Death. It will come, be it soon or far, but it will come whether be by my own hand or someone else's, by natural or caused. It will come in the end. I need no threats for they are but meaningless words and empty promises." I said pointing out the facts.

"Wise words for someone so small, and young...And what did you mean by Resourceful?" Knockout asked, "If he wanted to kill me he can, but I can always offer something he would see as 'precious' or 'helpful' in his eyes as a reminder of why I'm still here..." I said and chuckled, "After all that mine is just the beginning of how many locations I know where 'Energon' grows on this planet, it's everywhere if you know where to look. I also might offer other things, I know tactics by heart and can help here apparently, and do small things. I won't get in anyone's way and all I want is knowledge...that's the deal we made anyway. I gave him the mine location and I get knowledge and soon you'll run out again and another deal will be made...so really. I'm resourceful." I said smiling.

"Your a little sinister, glad your on our side....right?" Breakdown said looking a little worried afterwards. I saw bits of sadness in his eyes like I was to say no. "But of course...were all friends now aren't we? Though I can't really say I'm on your side, the Decepticons, since it would have to be notified by Megatron before I can start saying I am. Besides I rather think right now that I am, and even more so I rather hear it from Megatron's mouth just so I can truly say it for it would be fact then." I said, looking at both of them, they both were smiling. "Good, because we find your company quite...soothing, or wanted I guess. We barely get good company such as your self." Knockout said picking me up by my Axe-Bass and placed me on the computer edge.

"I'm glad than, I'm not in the way nor am I a problem." I said smiling. Breakdown chuckled walking over, "I doubt you will ever be one, though StarScream is more of one anyways." Breakdown said somewhat patting my head, I just chuckled, "Besides I think Megatron likes you, he wouldn't have a human of all things sit on his shoulder if not."

I just shook my head, "He probably didn't want to lose me and kept me there so I wouldn't wonder off." I said chuckling, "Whatever you think, we think a bit differently." Knockout shaking his head. "Everyone thinks differently anyway, captain obvious." I rolled my eyes grabbing the small tablet and resumed reading. Then we were soon letting loose some jokes, ones that were getting passed back and forth between the three of us...or till Megatron came in, and our laughter died.

"What of StarScream?" He asked Knockout, "Fine, his wires were just fried, easy fix. He will be up by tomorrow." Knockout replied. Then Megatron's eyes landed on me, He didn't say anything only moved toward me, placing a hand down, palm up, for me to climb on, or so my instincts told me. I moved a few feet and then looked at Knockout, "Do you need this back anytime soon?" I asked pointing to the tablet, as he only shook his head. I then quickly put the tablet in my mailbag and then hopped on Megatron's hand as we left Med Bay, without another word.

"So, it seems your adapting well to all of this." Megatron spoke up, I was leaning on his thumb that curled inward, like I would over a railing, with both arms crossed. "Yeah, Knockout and Breakdown are nice, I helped them fix Screamers wires." I said looking forward still watching the hallways of this huge moving labyrinth, mapping this out as best I can. "I suppose the tablet was of the basic's then?" He continued, "yep. Got a decent size dent in it so far, what about you?" I then asked in return. "Yes, plenty of Energon in a place like that." I smiled, it seems like a good deal then, lots of Energon for lots of basic knowledge. "Good, if or when you run out just tell me, I know many more places like that one." I then felt and saw him move his hand so I was somewhat looking at him as he stopped.

"You know of more locations with as much Energon as this one?" He asked, "Yes, a good reason to keep me around is what I think, I'm good at many things and resourceful is at the top of the list. Besides, don't ask for the locations. I can feel and see that your the type to take everything of what people have to offer before moving on. So, I rather have something to offer later than be left without none, as well with no purpose of being here." I explained, he nodded his head understanding not only was I stubborn but will give him what he needs in due time.
