"Jessica...?"
I feel something nudge me and I groan.
"Jessica," the voice was soft and light. I slowly opened my eyes to see Ashton kneeling over me. "Glad to see you're awake."
"What happened?" I sat up and winced, feeling a sharp pain in my head, then collapsed back onto the floor, hitting my head yet again.
"Take it easy! You aren't exactly in the best condition, you know."
"Ugh, just... Just tell me what happened." I rubbed where my head was it by the floor just then.
"Well... A microwave exploded in the teacher's lounge. Lucky you just seemed to have been walking right past it! After that... I saw you having...Well, a panic attack of some sort. That's at least what it looked like, anyway. Then, you collapsed, banging your head on a nearby locker. I rushed to your side and carried you out of the building."
I was completely bewildered... And I felt another panic attack coming. "I... Gotta go..."
"Wait!"
Before she could stop me, I was yards away.
I ran. I ran as far as I could muster.
