Ben's POV

I was going to a party. I had to sneak out since my mom and dad were home. I would be seeing my crush, Lora and I need to make a move before her boyfriend, John gets there. She is so much better than him and I need to prove that to her.
Once I arrived, I found Lora and my friends. I needed to make a move. I asked her to dance. We were dancing and hanging out when her boyfriend, John arrived. I backed away from Lora as John started walking toward me. He threw a cold, hard punch right on my cheek. Everyone stared as I punched back. Keep in mind, this guy is 18, 2 years older than me. We carried on, punching and kicking until Lora managed to break us up. I had blood all over me, while John's pretty boy face didn't have a scratch.
I walked home, battered and bruised. Once I got home, I crawled in through my bedroom window. As I can coming in my mom opened the door. She saw me all beat up and her jaw dropped. This was going to be fun.
