Draco Hermione and their two children returned home that night. They were unable to attain their sons body for burial because the CDC wanted to do a autopsy on his body to understand what sickness had killed him.

It took Draco and Hermione 3 hours from 9 oclock at night to get their daughters to sleep. Avril was terrified and heart broken from losing her baby brother and Livelex was broken up because everyone else was. It was harder for Draco to see his youngest daughter crying for a reason she was too young to understand. After the girls were asleep and Hermione finally cried herself to sleep Draco went to his sons bedroom. Sitting on the edge of the bed he picked up the stuffed dragon he had been holding before he died and hugged it.

Footsteps near the door stole his attention and Draco looked over to see Hermione standing in the doorway.

"Draco, please don't make me fall asleep alone." She sobbed. "I need you now more than ever."

Draco knew his wife was right, these next few weeks, months, years would be the hardest for their family. Draco carefully placed the stuffed dragon back on the bed in the place it had been. Draco then made a promise to himself that he would come in tomorrow and use a permanent sticking charm on the entire room so nothing could be moved. He wanted everything to remain the same.

Getting to his feet he walked to the door, taking time for one more look at his sons bedroom. Turning out the light he closed the door and headed  to the bedroom with his wife. The two lay silently awake in the bed for a little over an hour before they fell asleep.

Draco woke up that morning, the sun shining through the windows right into his face. Holding up his hand to shield his vulnerable eyes from the light he sat up in the bed. Draco thought about the crazy nightmare he had. He dreamt that he had been tricked into a love potion and fell in love with Whitney and they made love and she became pregnant. He shivered at those thoughts, they were so disturbing. He then continued onto the rest of his nightmare. He had come home to his wife after the potion had worn off and discovered his son was sick, then his son had died....

Draco looked to his left and let out a breath of relief, Hermione was at his side. Getting to his feet Draco walked from their bedroom and downstairs to start breakfast. Omeletes with a side of hashbrowns and bacon. It was a Sunday morning which was the day where Scorpius picked what the family had for breakfast. After everything was cooked and setting on the table Hermione and the two girls walked into the kitchen.

Draco moved to kiss his wife. "I'm going to go and wake up Scorpius."

"What do you mean Draco?" Hermione asked.

"Well he can't sleep all day can he plus its his favorite breakfast." Draco said as he headed upstairs.

Hermione moved to follow her husband upstairs, she was confused. Her husband was speaking about their son as if he was still alive, certainly he remembered what happened. Hermione came to the landing in time to hear cries coming from their sons room. Moving to the doorframe she saw her husband on his knees in the middle of the room.

"Draco" she whispered. "Come on, lets go downstairs." Hermione said to try and get him out of the room so she could leave as well.

Draco looked up with a tear stricken face. "I wasn't here to comfort him like a father is supposed to do." He cried. Hermione brought her hand to her mouth as tears began falling down her face. "I didn't even get to tell him that I loved him"

Hermione moved to Dracos side and got to her knees beside him to pull him into a hug. "Draco" Hermione sobbed. "He knew you loved him. I told him every night. Please its not your fault, it just happened."

Draco looked into Hermione's eyes. "Did he suffer? The last time he was awake?"

Hermione touched his face before he kissed them. "No he didn't suffer."

Draco brought his hand to his wifes stomach and jumped a little as he felt a kick. Hermione sighed as she brought her hand to her stomach and laughed nervously.

"He is hungry." Hermione said as she got to her feet.

Draco mimicked her, raising to his feet. "It's a boy?" Hermione nodded her head.

"I've been thinking about naming him Draco Lucius Malfoy II but after the recent events I've chosen a different name, Scorpius Draconius Malfoy."

"That's a perfect name I can already imagine him looking just like his big brother." Draco said forcing a smile.
