Chapter 5

So I have decided to try and update more often these holidays I am not making any promises no how often I will update but just keep n eye out for more updates. I know I said that I would update on Christmas eve and possibly boxing day but tomorrow (Christmas eve) I still have a lot of things to do so I am going to post it today. In case you are wondering why I am saying that Christmas eve is tomorrow, it is because I live in Australia!

Shawn's POV

I walk out to the lounge room and sit on the couch. Nash comes out a few minutes later and I completely ignore him. He grabs his keys and leaves.

I grab the TV remote and flick through the channels until Hayes and Keely walk out, holding hands. Keely looks like she has been crying. I hop up and walk over to her.

"I am so sorry Keely. Nash is just being a self-centered poo-brain." I say, trying to comfort her by wrapping my arms around her and squeezing her tight.

"I was just really upset and I thought I was a problem. But Hayes came in and sat with me and just made me feel much better about everything," she says back, untangling from our hug and going to hug Hayes.

"Thank you, Hayes. It was so sweet of you to comfort me," she says, standing on her tiptoes to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"You're welcome Keely." he says back. 

"well if anything happens again you can come and talk to me. Ok?" I said,

"yeah you can come to me as well." Hayes said making her smile. 

Keely's POV

Everything that Shawn and Hayes said to me made me feel so much better about the situation I was in. I was just about to say something when Nash came bursting through the door. He came up to me and said something I didn't expect at this point in time. 

"Keely I am so sorry for what I said earlier I was just shocked that Shawn had a sister and didn't tell us."

"Well just because you didn't know about me doesn't mean you should say that. It's bad enough that both of my parents are dead. And my boyfriend broke up with me because I didn't tell him about Shawn!" at that point, I broke down into tears and ran out of the room.  

As I am running back to my room I bump into someone in the hallway. I look up to see Cameron and he must see that I have been crying because he pulls me into a hug. At first, I am shocked but then I hug him back. After we pull away I see Hayes and Shawn running towards us but because I am hidden by Cam they don't see me. They start yelling at Cam asking if he had seen me, instead of giving them an answer Cam just turned around revealing me. The boys had a look of relief on their faces when they saw me.  

They came up to me and Hayes gave me the BIGGEST and best hug ever. I know I said that Zach gave the best hugs ever but they are nothing compared to the hug Hayes just gave me. When we pulled away we lock eyes and for that moment it seems like the whole world is going in slow motion. I was snapped from my thoughts when Shawn waved his hand in front of my face.  

Shawn's POV

 Nash looked taken back by what Keely said but she did have a point and with Keely around he would have to watch what comes out of his mouth because she will call him out on it. 

After Keely ran off Hayes and I started running after her until she got into the elevator and closed the door behind her when we got out of the elevator we took we saw Cam just standing in the middle of the hallway we called out to him asking if he had seen Keely, he didn't give us am answer he just turned around revealing a crying Keely. We ran up to her and Hayes gave her a huge hug. After they pulled apart they were standing there staring into each other's eyes. I could tell Keely was deep in thought because I said her name 6 times and waved my hand in front of her face after that she finally snapped out of it.  

"What were you thinking about?" I ask her she blushes. 

"Oh.. Nothing that concerns you." She answered matter-of-factly.

Hayes' POV 

When Keely was looking into my eyes I felt a connection between us and I knew that I was going to ask her on a date. When that is going to be I do not know. I just know that I have to ask her. 

"Hey, Cam can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask

"Yeah sure. What you want bro?"

"I wanted to know what you think of Keely?!" 

"I think that she is nice." 

"Well, what would you say if I told you that I think I might like her?!"

"Well I would say to talk to Shawn about it before you do anything " 

"Oh yeah I will and I don't want to rush her especially when her boyfriend just broke up with her."  

Zach's POV 

I feel really bad that I broke up with Keely because she didn't tell me that she had a brother and especially on the day that her dad died and her mum was put in a coma. I think I am going to try and get back together with her. 

"Hey Linda " 

"Mmhmm."

Why haven't you been hanging out with Keely that much?" 

"Oh because she moved to North Carolina with Shawn because she doesn't have any other family here in New Nork."  

"Oh... ok." 

Great now if I want to get her back I will have to move to North Carolina.  

Keely's POV 

When I looked into Hayes' eyes I felt the same feeling that I would feel when I looked into Zach's and I knew then and there that I had moved on from Zach and I wanted to be able to be called Hayes' girl. But he probably doesn't feel the same way. 😢  I need to talk to Shawn about this.  

"Hey, Shawn can I talk to you privately please?" I enquired 

"Yeah sure what's up"  

"Umm... I like Hayes." 

"Keely are you sure you like him I mean you did just get out of a relationship?" 

"Shawn I am sure I like him. But he doesn't like me back!"

"Oh, I know for a fact that he likes you." 

"Yeah sure he does you are just messing with me! Anyway, I am going to sleep now!" 

"Ok, goodnight!" 

And with that I went up to my room and went to bed.
