After having to suffer through three more days of school, I have reached last block on Friday. I can't stop thinking about what Finn texted me on Friday. I talked to my mom about Finn but she doesn't seem to get what he looks like. For the entire week I haven't really eaten anything in hopes of losing a little weigh before the game. I have had a granola bar and a some smoothies all week and thats it. I feel a little sick as I drove to school but I feel like I have lost a few pounds so I just need to stick it out until after the game.

So as I walk to my study hall I look around for Finn. I don't see him at first causing me to frown. So I sit down alone at the table and begin my homework.

That's when I hear someone stomp inside. I look up to see a red faced, angry, Finn. He sits down next to me and rests his head on the table. Almost everyone in the library stares at the guy as he groans and stomps his feet.

"Hi Finn." I say quietly while tapping his shoulder.

"Hi Ellie." He grumbles.

"What's the matter?" I ask. He puts his head up and he looks like he is on the verge of tears.

"I'm failing most of my classes. English I'm failing the worst with a thirty seven ." He says. I frown at him.

"I told you I would help you with your work. Why haven't you texted me?" I ask. He shrugs.

"I mean I don't know, I just don't want to be a bother." He whispers.

"You won't bother me, I want you to pass." I say. He smiles.

"Okay, then lets hang out Sunday and you can help me with my English reading." He says, his anger slowly fading away.

"But we are hanging out Today at the game." I say.

"Yeah so?" He asks.

"I mean, do you really wanna hang out with me that much? I could get annoying." I say and he smirks.

"You aren't annoying, you're my girl." He laughs and pats my back. I blush and laugh when he says that.

"Are you excited for the game tonight?" He asks.

"I mean I guess I am." I say. He gasps at me.

"Well you need to be more excited because we need to have lots of fun tonight!" He exclaims, causing the librarian to shush him. He rolls his green eyes but then continues speaking, quieter this time. "I want to make sure you have a good time."

I'll have an amazing time as long as you are there.

"Okay, you can try." I laugh at him. We talked about a whole bunch of stuff for the rest of study hall until the bell finally rings.

"Well Ellie, I'll be at your place at five." He says while starting to walk away but I walk quickly next to him.

"The game starts as Six thirty though?" I question.

"Yeah but I have to meet your mom!" He says.

"Okay fine." I say with a laugh.

"Okay I have to go now, make sure you're looking pretty as always." He says whilst waving and walking away. I'm left standing in the lobby, blushing. I swear I ask myself this every minute but why did he pick me to hang out with and call pretty. Maybe I am on a reality TV show and I'm being pranked?

I sit in my room. I do my makeup, take it off, and do it again. I'm pretty good at makeup, but in this moment, my hands are shaking too much for me to do anything. Once I finally finish, I walk to my closet and pull out a pair of jeans and a big sweater. I put on a pair of high heeled boot and begin to walk to the mirror. The dreaded mirror.
