Evan sighed and rubbed his face in frustration.
He didn't mean to be so rude to Jonathan, he was just too stressed and his girlfriend was not helping with the situation at all.
Evan felt the tears in his eyes and lied down on his bed.

I tried calling you but you won't pick up.
Just then Evan's phone rang, indicating a call was coming from someone.
He was surprised to find out that it was Luke, Evan swallowed the lump n his throat and answered
"Hello?" His voice trembled, he didn't expect a crying Luke to answer from the other side if the line.
"E-evan? Please..you have to come to N-North Carolina"
Evan's heart rate picked up, he felt that there was something so fucking wrong.
"I-it's Jon"
................"what?................
Evan walked through Jon's bedroom door and the moment he saw the sight before him, he knelt down on his knees and cried.
Jonathan was on the bed, unconscious and breathing slowly, he was hooked into many kind of machines including a heart monitor.
The steady beeping of the device still ensured Evan that Jon was still alive, but it wasn't long until he'd have to say goodbye to Jon for good.
"He's been home medicated for two weeks Evan..i-i..i thought he'd get better but..it o-only made his condition worse" Luke cried beside him, and placed a shaky hand on Evan's shoulder.
Evan looked over at his best friend.
The best friend that he had unintentionally pushed away just because his girlfriend wanted his time.
He had left Jon in the dark and now, he was suffering the same fate.
