Ambrose's POV
It was a cool evening in London, the sun was just beginning to set as it's last few beams cried out, showering the city in a gold shimmer of glitter. Above this however stood a tall and dark building, much higher than all the rest, as if telling all the other buildings they were beneath it, and inside this building stood a dark and brooding figure of a man. But not just any man: Mr Rikkard Ambrose. Morose, cynical and ominous. This renowned billionaire and entrepreneur had other plans on this fine evening. What you say? What ever could he possibly be doing that could stop him from doing work, the thing which was most important to him, his life even, most would say. Perhaps another 'strike' from one of his factories (which, if you've seen Mr Ambrose sort out, is resolved very quickly and usually involves some form of bribery and threats - your typical Mr Ambrose) or maybe his spies have gathered more evidence from Lord Dagliesh's lair, who, according to Mr Ambrose is the most evil of evil and even evilness finds him evil. No no, none of these things, but, the question is what could it possibly be? The answer: 2 words. Lilly Linton.
"Karim...KARIM...WHERE ARE YOU?" I shouted at the top of my voice which is saying something since even my whisper is loud enough for the whole of London to hear, not that I've tried it or anything *cough* *cough*. Tonight I would be going on an absolutely vital and top secret mission to acquire much needed and extremely important information. I would be investigating a case which has only recently been brought to my attention. I would be delving into Lilly's life...outside of my office. Now this isn't really a big thing, I mean, whose life isn't in my office. Whose dedicated time isn't spent filing and reading reports. Whose ambitions aren't to mutilate and destroy Lord Dagliesh, the no good devil tyrant who I am richer than by exactly £1 and 75 pence now (and which I am very proud of) and if I could get my hands on him...er...eh hem...sorry, going slightly off topic there. Anyway, I am, to put it bluntly seeing who Lilly is meeting and if she was really telling me the truth which was that she's meeting a man.
"Finally Karim, I have been waiting for exactly 52 seconds, and as you know, it is not good for me to be kept waiting, especially for the person who had kept me waiting".
"Sorry Sahib" he told me, for some reason out of breath. "I was just on my way out when I received your message. Code...1...0...1 you said. Top secret. Urgent. An emergency. I rushed straight here. What possibly could it be Sahib? We have only ever... had ...a code 101 once before when that thing happened and..."
I cut him off quickly. "Karim...what is this thing you speak of, I don't seem to remember?
"Sahib...the thing with Lord Da..."
"The thing I told you never to mention again, not to anyone, and most definitely not even to me"
"I..Sahib...I'm sorry. I was foolish not to think of that. Please forgive me".
I gave him one of my most icy stares. " Fine. Besides, we have other matters to attended to".
"Of course Sahib"
20 minutes later we were on our way the said subjects house, of whom I'm not going to mention, for secrecies sake of course.
"But Sahib, please tell me who we are going to visit" he asked me for the 10th time, and I am not being sarcastic: I counted. "I do not know whether to bring my Sabre or my Dagger".
"I told you Karim, you will not be requiring either of them. Only yourself".
The big Mohammedan sighed but did not question me further, which was of course the right move for I was beginning to get very frustrated.
