"You ready to belt it out, Austin?" Ed inquired, propping his elbows up on the soundboard.

I glanced up from my phone, were I was checking my mentions on twitter. Nodding, I rested my phone on the couch, then made my way to the recording booth.

Ed wrinkled his eyebrows. "Why aren't you smiling?"

"If I smiled right now, it'd be fake." I replied, drowning onto the stool, then tugging the headphones over my ears.
Slow piano music was surging through them, depressing me a bit more.
Suddenly the music just completely stopped.

"Austin, your not paying attention. The intro started already and your just staring at the ground." Ed stated, leaning back, his arms crossed. "What's your prob?"

"Girls. They're my prob. I don't even have a girlfriend, but they're my prob. Do you see my dilemma?"

Ed laughed. "Is this just girls in general, or a particular girl?"

"Particular girl." I replied. "And no, its not Maddie."

"I realized that. You don't talk about her anymore, and I know who the girl is, I'm not stupid."

I chuckled, looking down at my feet, a blush creeping into my cheeks. "I know that, Ed."

"Why are you so depressed over Amelia? She seems pretty sweet."

"I'm not depressed, I'm just confused. I know that I feel something for Amelia, but I don't know what I feel.. Something's there, but I don't know what, and it sucks because she's falling for another guy."

Ed nodded, running a hand through his hair. "You two are friends, right?"

"Yup." I replied. "Why do you ask?"

"Your being friend-zoned, bro. She's friend zoning Austin Mahone."

I groaned. "Don't even mention that."

"I am an American Girl-" Zach quickly switched the radio station.

"Why'd you change it? I love that song." Robert whined. Zach, Alex, and I all shot him a look that screamed 'wow your gay'.

"I don't care what you wannabe gangsters think, I quite like that song. " Robert snapped.

"Right now, your opinion is irrelevant." Alex stated, shaking his head.

"Is it me or is it super cold?" Robert murmured, cuddling up to Alex in the backseat.

He is being so gay today. We were on our way to the mall, because I need a Nike stress release. Or a Jordan one. Whichever store is spotted first.

"Yeah, it is kinda chilly." I said, slowing down at a stop light.

"If your so cold, cuddle Amelia, she wouldn't mind." Zach teased, poking me in the arm.

I shot him a look."Zachary, let's not even attempt to go there."

"I was just kidding, jeez. We all know-"

"Shut up. Just please stop talking. I said please."

"Maybe I don't wanna stop talking, maybe I really wanna talk, maybe all during this ride." Zach is smirking now.

We pulled up to a red light. "Zachary, stop. Just don't."

Zach ignored me. He turned to Alex, who was in the back seat.

"Alex, be honest, when it comes to Amelia, how do you think Austin feels about her?"

Alex seemed to think about it for an hour or so, when it was actually just a few minutes. I kinda wanna hear Alex's thoughts on all of this, because I quite trust his judgement.

"I think, on a truly honest note, that he has feelings, but he's not sure exactly what they are." Alex stated.

Once again, Alex Constancio gets it right. Can he just not right now ?

"If you ain't talking money, I don't wanna talk."
I look over at Zachary to see that he's answering a call.

"Zach, shut your white ass up and listen. Have you talked to Hunter lately? Like in the last few minutes?" Amelia's shrill voice rang out through Zach's phone.

"Yeah. A few hours ago.. I asked where he bought his Jay's from?" Zach replied. "Why?"

"Don't worry. Bye." She hung up.

"Well, she was rude." Zach huffed, shoving his phone in his pocket.

"Mel's middle name is rude, bro." Alex chuckled.

My mind is in an entirely different place. Why does Amelia care about this guy so much? She just met Hunter, plus he's not even that important. He's a complete nobody, why does she care about him so much? Why?

I hate this.

I hate him.
