-Austin-
A loud noise erupted in my room, startling me, and I promptly fell out of bed.
"Is that my phone or-?" My thought was cut short. It was my iPhone, but that sure wasn't my ringtone.
"If you ain't talking money, I don't wanna talk." My phone basically yelled at me.
I'm pretty sure that isn't my ringtone. Did someone change it or-?
Zachary.
"Should have seen that coming." I chuckled to myself, pulling my iPhone off of charge, and answering the call.
"Hello? Austin?"
"It's Austina. Who the heck is Austin?"
Mel laughed. I've been developing a bad obsession with her laugh, she just has the perfect-
"Austin, are you even listening to me?"
"No, oops. What were you saying?"
"I was asking if you wanted to come to the beach with me? I'm too friggin' pale, plus I'm bored."
"Sure. What time?"
"In about fifteen minutes?"
"It takes me fifteen minutes to find the clothes I'm gonna wear."
"Make it fifteen seconds." Mel instructed.
"I'm not making promises." I replied.
"Sure, babe."
"I'm not your babe, bro. I tell you that everyday."
"Byee, Amelia."

Amelia opened the passenger door on my Range Rover, got inside, then closed the door behind her.
"May I ask how come you suddenly feel like everything between us is absolutely swell?" I inquired, breaking the ice.
"We were having problems?" She questioned back, raising an eyebrow.
"Usually, we talk on a daily basis. Until this morning, I hadn't heard your voice in days." I said, glancing in her direction. She's biting her lower lip.
"Oops? I'm sorry?"
"Are you asking me or telling me?"
"I'm not entirely sure. Do you want an apology?"
"No. What I want, is for you to tell me what the hell is going on between us."
"I think it's because of-"
"Hunter."
I can feel Amelia glaring at me, but I don't care.
"Austin, Hunter has nothing too do with our nonexistent problems." She snapped.
"Nonexistent? Mel, we barely speak! That's not a problem?"
"Maybe things between us have changed. . .?" She murmured.
"Changed into what? Why do all of your statements sound like questions?"
"They sound that way because I'm not entirely sure of what I'm saying! I'm so confused! Do you want me too apologize? Is that what you want?"
