Chapter 10

"Bailey" a familiar voice said as I was lightly shooken.

"What Jordan" I said tiredly.

"It's time to get up" he chirped.

"But I don't wanna" I sighed.

"To bad" he said picking me up by my hips and throwing me over his shoulder.

"Really" I asked.

"Yes really" he chuckled.

"Ok well I'm up now. What do you want to do" I asked.

"This" he said putting me down and kissing me.

"Cheesy much" I giggled once we pulled apart.

"Ha ha very funny" he smiled.

He leaned in once more and before he could connect his lips with mine my phone rang.

He pulled away with a frown on his face. I giggled at him and answered my phone.

"Hello" I asked.

"Be prepared" a deep but familiar voice said.

Before I could ask a question the other caller hung up. Who could that have been?

The voice sounded familiar but who's was it? "Who was it" Jordan asked.

At that very moment is when I t hit me. "It was James" I said slowly.

"What did he say" Jordan asked.

"He said be prepared" I answered.

"What's that suppose to mean" Jordan said walking towards me.

"I-I don't know" I said trying to think of what he could have meant.

"It's okay it was probably nothing. Just a stupid prank or something" Jordan said trying to reassure me.

As soon as he said that a man in a black ski mask and black clothing came barging in.

"Hey pal you can't do that get out of here" Jordan said pushing the guy out.

"I don't think so. I am here to deliver a message from James" the guy said.

As he said that the guy pulled out a gun and shot Jordan right in the chest.

I screamed as the guy left. I grabbed my phone and dialed 911.

"Hello what is your emergency" the lady on the phone said.

"Help me" I sobbed. "My husband has been shot" I cried.

"We are on our way" the lady said hanging up.

"Jordan please stay with me" I pleaded.

"I will try" he said before passing out.

Everything from there on out was a blur..
