Fifthteen. I'm Sorry

" Want me to make chocolate for you?"
" Do you even know how to make it?"
" Are you looking down on me??!"
" Mhm."
" You ass. " she laughs.
" Let's go to the amusement park on the fourteenth."

" So where're ya going for Valentine's Day? " Mijoo spoke.
" Jungkook said we'll be going to the amusement park. What about you and hoseok?"
" Hoseok oppa said he's going to take me to a dance show."
" Ahh! I forgot you love dancing. "
" What kind of friend are you?! " Mijoo laughs.

At the café, Jungkook did his job with Yein on his mind like usual, but this time he could feel someone staring at him. When he searches for the person who has been staring at him, it turned out to be the customer who called him cute. Jung Chaeyeon.

He ignored her and went back to what he was doing. He didn't have time to care about other girls than Yein. Valentine's Day is going to be the last day. The last day of their relationship. The last of him and her together. It made him sad and depressed but there was nothing more he could do. He'd just have to spend the last day at its very best and make her happy.

Yein never really dressed herself up. She never used any kind of make up or styled her hair in any fancy way. But she wanted a change. She put on a thin line of eyeliner, a nude color of eyeshadow, shaped her brows into a line that fits her natural shape of eyebrows, and lastly she filled in her lips with a slight dab of lip tin and lip moisturizer. When she looked at herself in the mirror, she looked like a whole new person. She stared and stared until her cellphone rings.

She answers and her face softens.

" What are you doing? "
" Getting ready. "
" Getting all fancy are we? "
" I guess " a giggle comes out of her mouth.
" Don't curl your hair. I like it straight. "
" Okay. "

Their conversation continued while Yein chooses her outfit for their date. She wasn't sure of what to wear since it was cold. But at last, she decides to wear a simple knitted sweater and a black skinny jeans with a gray coat.

By the time Jungkook got out of his work, Yein was all ready. She was ready and was waiting for him to pick her up. When he came to her house wearing his usual bomber jacket and his blue ripped jeans, she wanted to hit him. It was cold, yet he's dressed so light. She smacked him on his arm and gave him a short lecture saying that if he catches a cold, she wouldn't take care of him. But knowing Yein, Jungkook was sure that she will take care of him anyway.

When the two arrived at the amusement park, joy filled up Yein's face. Jungkook's smile softens as he looks at his excited girlfriend. If only he could be with her for a little longer, if only he could just stay with her, that was all he wanted. But life was too harsh on him.

As he was thinking about how it was his last day of him and her, he felt his cheeks being pulled.

Yein who stood in front of him gave him a small pout with furrowed eyebrows. She continued to pulled and stretched his cheeks until he almost burst out laughing and spitting in her face. She lets go and let out an " Eww!! ". Jungkook puts his arm over Yein's neck, almost like a headlock position and playfully said " Why'd you pulled my cheeks for huh?!" in a mad tone.

When he finally lets go of her, his hand went down to intertwine with hers.

" I want to ride the ferris wheel last. "
" Why do girls like the ferris wheels so much? I will never understand. "
" It's romantic! Haven't you seen those movies we watched??! The ferris wheel scene is always a very romantic scene!"
" But I wasn't watching the movie. I was watching you."
" Errr, you creep! "
" But you like this creep~ " he sang and hugs her from the back. When he was about to lean down to place a kiss on Yein's lips, a phone call interrupted him.

Jungkook's happy expression faded. His hands began to shake. His legs were weak. And suddenly a tear rolled down his cheek.

" W-what's wrong? "
" I-I have to go..."
" Where? Where are you going? Jungkook please tell me what's going on! "
" My- my dad! He just passed away..."

Yein cupped her mouth with one of her palm but not for long. Her arms went to hug Jungkook. She comforted him even though she knew the comforting was not going to work.

" I-Yein...I'm sorry...I'll take you home for now. " he said nervously with more tears streaming down his face.

" It's nice to see you Jungkook. You've grown a lot. "
" It's nice to see you too secretary Min. "
" Did you settle things with your girlfriend?"
" Not yet. That's why I have to come back to Korea as soon as I can. "
" I'm afraid you won't be coming back to Korea for another five years"
" W-what?!"
" It's too late now to go to her. The plane is departing in about half an hour. I'm sorry, I should've told you earlier. "

Five years...I won't be seeing her for five years...I'm sorry Yein...
