A/N: I'm so so so sorry I took so long to update! I've been really busy lately due to college applications and senior year stuff, it's been stressing me out- But hey I posted a new chapter :)

It's also taking me quite awhile because I have a writer's block right now lol so please bear with me!!

This chapter was unedited! Forgive me for any mistakes! I will come back to edit it later so if you see an update don't get too hype!

He lets go of her wrist that he captured and moved his hands down to her waist as he tilt his head to kiss her deeper. Her hands went right up to his neck and they wrapped around it. They kissed each other hungrily, as if they had starved for a whole year- and in this case, they did starve a whole year. Actually, five whole years.

When Yein realized what she was doing she snapped and pushed Jungkook away.

Jungkook understood her sudden action. Who was he to suddenly kiss her out of nowhere when he left her with false promises. Yes he was wrong to leave her, but it wasn't his choice. He was to refrain from contacting her, he was forced to end his relationship with her. But in the end, it's still his fault because he left  her hanging, waiting, for five whole years.

"Yein...listen...I'm sorry."

"Let's talk about this at another time shall we?" she said nervously.

"I-I have to go back to the office.." she added.

Just before she exited to the door on him, he called out her name.

"Let me take you home after work."

She hesitated for a moment, and then she nodded.

She still couldn't believe that she had forgiven him this easily. Just a year ago, she thought she witnessed him kissing another woman. Had she been too easy on him? Or was it her needs for him to make her accept him back so easily?

As she walks back to her office, Jung Chaeyeon glared at her from the back.

"I won't let you end up with him again."

__________

"Yah are you at work?" Mingyu said through the phone.

"Mhm," she answered.

"I made lunch for you. You didn't bring in anything to eat."

"I'm fine Mingyu. You know my work place is far from home."

"It's fine. I don't want you o starve."

__________

Jungkook stood in the corner, watching Yein smiling happily at Mingyu who brought her lunch to her. He watched how his former friend pat Yein's head and smiled genuinely at her. His chest was boiling with jealousy and he wanted to stepped out to break them apart but he couldn't due to the girl whom he doesn't like clinging onto his arm.

"Oppa. Do you like the new employee?"  Jung Chaeyeon asked.

"She's my girlfriend. "

"What?"

"She's my girlfriend," he repeated.

"But you-you broke up with her didn't you? I thought you were over with her!"

"Listen Jung Chaeyeon. I do not like you. Stop coming to me. I don't wanna have any relationship with you. If you don't have anything better to do, go design some new outfits. Don't waste your time on me because I will not like you back."

"How could you say it this casually! Do you not care about my feelings at all?!"

"No. Not at all."

With that four words he said, Jung Chaeyeon left with tears.

Just wait Jung Yein. I won't let you have him.

__________

The two of them sat side by side in Jungkook's car. Her hands were on top of each other, fidgeting continuously. Jungkook stares and notices how uncomfortable she is. He tried to talk to her many times, but it seemed like every time he tries to open his mouth, she looks away, causing him to be unable to make a conversation. However, he won't give up. He'll talk to her. He'll force her to talk.

"What did you do while I was gone?"

"Go to college, and worked. What do you think I did?"

"No, it's just I thought that you were...you know..."

"Depressed? Over you leaving me?"

"Yeah."

"I was. Until Mingyu snapped me into reality."

"How did you get so close to him?"

"You don't need to know about that."

"What?"

"I have things that I want to keep to myself."

Yein could've told him the reason. But she was afraid of him knowing that she went to the café where he worked at everyday to wait for him. She didn't want him to know.

"Can we go back to where we were before I left?"

"Can we? I don't know."

"Was my action today not enough of a proof that I still love you?"

She got quiet.

"I don't know Jungkook."

"Alright. I won't rush you."

He assured her by rubbing her hand.

She could feel her whole body receiving the sensation of his warm hand. She almost flinched because of his touch. How could one touch affect her like this?

Get a hold of yourself Jung Yein!

" How was work today? Do you like the company? "

" Yeah. "

" If there's anything-or someone bothering you, let me know okay? "

" Okay. "

Okay was the last word Yein said before she arrived at her apartment building. Not her house that she lived with her parents- but apartment. It still surprised her that she was able to pay the rent all on her own.

Just when she was about to open the car's door, Jungkook opened it before she could. He guided her out of the passenger seat and lead her up to her apartment.

Before he left, he smiled shyly at her, and she stood there quietly wondering if she should smile back.

" Smile for me please? " Jungkook begs.

And so she did. She smiled for him.

A shy smile.

And then Jungkook took her hand and placed a kiss on her knuckles.

" Goodnight. Sleep tight. "

She nodded and he left.
