Third Person Limited POV

Eyes flutter open to reveal a stunning sea-green color.
The boy of which the magnificent eyes belong to, is laying on the large bed of his room, a blue eyed boy next to him, asleep with his head resting on the edge of the bed.

The boy tries to sit up, and consequently fails, falling back onto the bed with a groan.

The blue eyed boy jolts up, and is immediately on the Prince of France.

"Percy? Percy! You're awake! Are you alright?"

As his eyes adjusted, he was able to make out the concerned face of Luke.

"Mh...Luke."

"Are you okay?"

"Mhm. Lukey..."

"Yeah, Perce?"

"I want candy..."

The blue eyed boy burst out laughing and walked over to the bedside table, opening a drawer and pulling out Percy's secret stash of candy.

"How did you know...?"

"You think you can hide this from me? I laugh at your ignorance!"

Percy couldn't help but laugh as Luke cheered him up.

Luke's face turned serious suddenly.

"Percy."

Percy cocked his head slightly to the left.

"What is it?"

"Percy, it's time you know something very important. You see...you are...different..."

"Gee, thanks."

"No, no, I mean, it's not a bad thing, but you, you aren't like everyone else, you're not normal-"

"Thanks, Luke. For reminding me."

And then he was gone. Out of the bed and running down the halls, tears streaming down his face. Here was his best friend, someone he loved and adored, telling him that he want normal, that he was different-strange. Just like the whispers that coursed through the castle. No one would tell him to his face, but-he knew they thought it.

Why? What's wrong with him?
Why does everyone think him so strange?

He keeps running, unsure of where he is going, of what he wants to do. He just wants to get away.

And to think he trusted Luke.

He poured his heart out to the guy, told him everything that came to mind-and now he gets this. He'll never trust anyone again.

The trees of he castle garden came into view as Percy burst through the large glass doors leading there.

He scrambles to the biggest tree, its branches study and thick.

He hears his name being called and hurries, climbing up into its large, welcoming branches and nestling himself into the cradle formed by several intertwining branches.

Stifling a sob, he bites into the large, oversized sweater that he had been dressed in when unconscious.

He peers down through the thick leaves, and sees Luke, looking left and right by the trunk of the tree, before running off again, in direction of the pond.

He lets out his sobs, shoulder shaking, chest aching sobs.
As he pours out his heart, all he feels is a longing, a desperate need for Luke, but he denies the feeling.

Oh how he wishes he didn't.
