Anyhoo, I wanna thank lildaydreamer and GiamoniCooper for voting/commenting/fanning/adding this story to their library. Special thanks toGiamoniCooper for that little PM you sent me and for making up for that other person who unfanned me.

Yes, someone unfanned me. How sad is that? 3:

Recap;

I glared at him. “What the fuck do you want?” I demanded. “Ah, you’re a feisty one . Oh well, we’ll just have to wait.”

I stared at him, confused. “Wait for what?”

“You’ll find out soon, sweetheart,” he replied, lightly touching my face. I flinched at his touch. Cedric left the room then, leaving me to ponder about what he said.

What WAS he waiting for? How would anyone even know where I was? My only hope is Craig. Oh God. What if Cedric is waiting for Craig to come find me? What would he do then?

The Tenant Chapter 12

Craig’s POV

I pressed the doorbell and waited while Marie unlocked the door. I was surprised to see that she had been crying.

“What’s wrong, Mrs. Monroe?” I asked, walking in.

“It’s Melody, Craig. She hasn’t been home for 2 days. She didn’t even leave a message or a call o-or anyt-thing. She’s a good daughter, Craig. P-please help me,” she pleaded, crying.

“Have you made a missing person’s report?” I asked.

Marie nodded. I gave her a side-hug in an attempt to comfort her.

“Don’t worry, Mrs. Monroe. She’ll be home soon. I’ll find her,” I promised.

She looked surprised but made no comment as I grabbed my coat and went out. I didn’t have to try hard;

I knew where she was.

Melody’s POV

A few days had passed already. Travis was kind enough to bring me food when Cedric wasn’t here. But of course one of them had to bring me to the toilet when I needed to do my business. Toilet trips were the only things I looked forward to, mainly because I hadn’t showered in days. Those were the only times I could freshen up.

I suddenly heard footsteps from outside; Cedric came in the room.
