Killian grabbed Emma and carried her bridal style all the way back to his house. He laid her on the couch and grabbed a wet washcloth to clean up the blood from her arm. He dabbed at the cut itself and she winced in pain. He looked up at her and her eyes were clenched tightly.

"Sorry, love," he kissed her wrist and finished cleaning up her arm. He put a bandaid over the cut and kissed it when he was done. "Can I see your stomach?"

"Why?" Emma asked hesitantly.

"I could sense your pain. Most of it being on your sides and stomach. Can I see?"

She nodded and lifted up her shirt. She looked up at the ceiling as he looked at the marks. Emma didn't look at them, but she was pretty sure she didn't want to either. "Is it bad?"

"No. Just some red dots. They should go away." He pulled her shirt down and kissed her head. He moved to sit down beside her and her head, and Emma sat herself up in between his legs.

"Are you hurt?"

He shook his head. "I'm fine. I just wish I would have gotten to you sooner. You wouldn't have been shocked so many times. I'm so sorry this happened to you."

"I'm fine. I really am. Just some sleep and I will be even better."

"Then you just go to sleep." Killian picked her up and rushed her to his bedroom. He laid Emma down and tucked her in under the blankets. "I'll be up in a little bit." She nodded but was already half asleep.

Killian went downstairs and grabbed his leather jacket and his leather gloves. He ran back to the farmhouse to find that Gold and Hyde were still laying on the ground. A puddle of blood surrounded the bodies. Killian knew that if he stepped in it, there was a chance that he would be investigated as a suspect, so he carefully stepped around the puddle and leaned down to Gold's body first. There wasn't a pulse, and he was happy about that. He moved to Hyde's body next to find that there wasn't a pulse here either. He stood up with a smile and made his way through the rest of the house. He was surprised to see that their weren't any weapons used to hurt or kill vampires. He figured that they were there to capture him, then move him to another location to kill him. Hyde said it himself that they wanted him dead. Killian left the way he came in, leaving the two men dead, on the ground, waiting for someone to find them.

He went back to his house and took off his jacket, gloves, and shoes. He went upstairs to find Emma sleeping peacefully in the bed. He smiled and took off all of his clothes except for his boxers and crawled in next to her. Her phone was lighting up on the nightstand, and he saw that it was her mother. He grabbed her phone and sent a text to her, saying that she was spending the night at Ruby's house. He also wrote an apology as of why she hadn't said anything earlier, then put the phone back down. He cuddled up next to her and wrapped the covers around them both, and allowed himself to drift off to sleep.

Hyde held the taser down to her skin and Emma jolted in the seat. The ropes around her prevented her from thrashing too much. Just a mild jerk here and there. He took the taser away from her body, leaving her covered in sweat and breathing heavily. Aftershocks ran through her body.

"You think he actually cares for you?" Hyde whispered in her ear. "He's a vampire. He doesn't understand what love is. He only knows what lust, desire, pain, and depression are. He's a monster. You are a human. He can never love you."

"You don't know him like I do."

"I know that he has killed many innocent men and women. He has drained their veins dry. You think that you are any different? You are just a refillable blood bag for him. He won't care if you give up his location."
