He moves his arm after a minute. I have a cloud tattoo as well. But I'm definitely am not going to show him it, it's on my side. So that would be awkward.
"Do you have any tattoos?" He asks.
"Yeah..." The question I was dreading... Well eh sorta dreading.
"Can I see?" He chuckles. I sit up straight and Jessy sits up and looks at me.
"Jess it's okay." I smile and she lays back down. I lift my shirt up and show him. He traces the shape giving me goosebumps.
"I like it." He smiles.
"Thank you."
"No problem."
His voice is music to my ears and I want to listen to it forever.
The sky is a dark red and blue and the sun is almost all the way down. I stand up, and so does Jessy. She stretches and yawns. I do the same.
"Do you live close?" He asks standing up as well.
"Sorta? Like Eight blocks away." I shrug and point to the west, "It's that way," he shrugs too.
"Well, do you want me to walk you home? I have to go that way too." I look at Jessy.
"Um. I think I'll be okay? But maybe we can do this again?" I say and smile as I tuck my hair behind my ear.
"Yeah, Can I have your number?" He pulls his phone out of his back pocket and hands it to me. I type it in and send a message to my phone. It buzzes in my pocket. I pull my phone out to save his number.
