 Watching as Kim stomped out of the Human Resources’ Conference room I felt no remorse for the stupid homophobic woman. I glanced over to where Mr. White was sitting and the dirty bastard was busy staring at my breasts, so I drew my IPAD up to chest and quickly concluded the meeting and made my way back upstairs to my desk. At some point today I wanted to go and find Corey because Joe was still avoiding me, but I had to prepare for Marcus' arrival, he should be strolling through the door any minute now. 

 Marcus stepped off the elevator and I stood from my desk and followed him into his office. "Good morning Bethany, did the meeting with White and Kim go well this morning?" He asked as he took a seat behind his massive desk.

 "Yes, she was informed of her week long suspension with no pay. Mr. White didn't seem to care one way or the other, since he was paying more attention to my boobs than what was happening in the room. Let's just say she did not take the news well." I informed him and then proceeded to run through his schedule for the day. I so wanted to ask him about Corey but I refrained. It was a touchy subject in the office, so I left it alone. Marcus went to work checking his emails and I went back to my desk. I had some things to research before his afternoon meetings so I got to it and before I knew it, it was almost lunch time. Marcus came out and disappeared for his afternoon lunch meeting. So I finished up and made my way downstairs to hunt down Corey.

 I walked down the aisles of the cubicles to Corey's desk; he was busy plugging away at his computer. "Hey you." I said as I entered his space and leaned on the desk next to him.

 He looked up at me with those beautiful baby blues and smiled. "Hey Beth. How are you?"

 "Fine, just wondering how you are since you haven't separated yourself from your man to talk to anyone else." I teased and watched his cheeks flush.

 "I am sorry, sweetie." He apologized. "Let's get something to eat if you have time." He asked me hopefully.

 "Sure come on then." I said and he shut down his computer and followed me out of the office. I waited until we were on the side walk when I asked. "So how are things with the man? The last I saw you too, it was less than paradise." I said recalling the emotional incident last week between the two of us and that damn instrument of torture Marcus had put on me for punishment.

 He blushed again before responding. "It was a misunderstanding and a lack of communication, but we got past it."

 "Good I am glad. You may not know it but you are good for each other. He is less serious and you are more open. You guys are a good fit. If you can separate work and your personal time then no problem." I said trying to figure out a way to work Joe into the conversation. We made it to the deli on the corner and waited in the line to order our food.

 "So, have to seen or talked to Joe. I have been trying to talk to him and he is not answering my calls and he hasn't been home. I am worried; I haven't seen him since the eventful kiss he planted on you." I said deciding to get right into it.

 I watched as Corey flushed even a deeper shade of red. "Well...I have seen and talked to him. He apologized to both me and Marcus." He said but he seemed to be hedging about something. We got up to the counter and placed our food orders and paid. We stepped to the receiving side to wait for our sandwiches.

 "Do you have any idea then why he is hiding from me?" I asked hurt and confused.

 Corey looked really uncomfortable but he answered. "I think Joe has come to terms with the possibility that he is Bisexual and he working through it, I am sure he will talk to you soon about it."
