Chasing Gold

Chapter 7

I rolled back my shoulders and walked over to Sebastian's table. He was sitting with another attractive man who seemed to be his... friend? I've never met any of Sebastian's friends before. Pushing that thought aside I could feel the alcohol start to kick in when I plopped down into the booth next to him. While staring him down I asked, "Why are you buying me drinks?"

He smirked and put his hand onto my thigh, "Ashley Gold do not be rude and ignore my friend! This is Alex Karev." 

I glanced over at Alex and smile while saying, "You are aware that you're friends with an ass, right?"

Alex burts out laughing and nods his head, "Yeah he kind of is an ass. Though those are your words not mine!" Then he looks over at Sebastian who is glaring at him. "Sorry buddy it's true! You know you're an ass." He chuckles again until Sebastian gives him another hard glare. "Okay I'll leave you two alone and busy myself with finding someone to dance with. See you soon Ashley." He smiles and slides out of the booth.

"How are you associated with such nice people" I say while feeling the room swirl a little. I can tell I'm tipsy but not properly drunk yet.

He grips my thigh and leans into my ear, "I'm a nice guy too Ash."

I start laughing and cross my leg over the other, causing his grip to loosen and I pull his hand off me. "Honestly though you shoudn't be following me places."

"Trust me I'm not following you. I'm only one year older and like a good college party as much as the next guy!" He smirks and then leans close into my face. Oh gosh, is he going to try to kiss me? Am I going to let him? I close my eyes and wait for his lips until I feel his breath on the side of my face and he whispers, "So Ashley do you want to dance?"

I open my eyes and see him staring back at me smiling. I turn over towards the bartender and yell, "I'm going to need another round over here." Seb laughs and pulls us towards the bar. We take a couple more shots until I"m proper drunk and he's very tipsy himself. Sebastian asks again and I take his hand and walk over to the dance floor. I can't say that I'm not attracted to him becasue I am. I would totally date him if I thought he was normal, but he's Sebastian and controlling and jealous and too much for me to handle. But, in my drunken mind all I wanted to do was dance with him and have some fun.

Right when we get to the dance floor I see Katie dancing with Kevin. I turn to face Sebastian and yell, "I'm going to say hi to Katie real quick. I want to meet her new boyfriend!" I turn to walk away but he squeezed my hand started following behind me. We get to Katie and I throw my arms around her. "KATIE! You finally made it to the party!" Then I turn towards Kevin and hug him while saying, "Hi I'm Ashley and if you break Katie's heart then I'll have to break you!"

"Trust me I don't plan on doing that and it's nice to finally meet you. Katie is always talking about her best friend Ashley Gold." He laughed while smiling at Katie.

"Ashley are you drunk?" Katie questions me, "And Sebastian what are you doing here?"

I turn to look back at Sebastian and say, "We were just about to go dancing!"

Katie's eyes widen and then she whispers something to Kevin. "Okayyy well if you need us we'll be right here."

We say our goodbyes and then Seb and I get back to the dance floor. While 'closer' by the chainsmokers is playing he smiles at me and says, "I love this song." Then he grabs my hips and we're grinding. He runs his hands along my hips and I start to get goosebumps from his touch. After a couple songs he leans in closer and whispers in my ear, "Let's go back to my house."

Even though I'm still drunk I can tell what he's implying. I turn to face him and throw my arms around his neck while his go around my wasit. He raises his eyebrows, waiting for an answer. "I don't think that's a good idea,"
