Ch 9. Master Chen Retrurns

Kai's P.O.V~

It had been a week since Zane had gotten sick and we still couldn't perform, but the Doc said he'll be better tomorrow.

So since today was Saturday we thought we would have the day off, but nope.

We got word that the Stone Army was causing mayhem in New Ninjago City again.

We race to our dragons and set off for New Ninjago City.

"What do you think the Stone Army's up too this time? Jay asked as we got closer.

"Bets Me!" Lloyd said.

"Yeah. I wonder who's controlling them?" Cole said just as we landed.

Zane's P.O.V~

"I may not have much of a voice, but I can still fight!" I whispered.

"Lets spread out, I'll go with Cole!" Kai said.

"I'll go with you Zane!" Lloyd said.

Lloyd's P.O.V~

We had been waking for what seem to be hours, when we finally saw something.

"Look, it's one of the Stone Army scouts! I whispered to Zane, trying not get the scouts attention.

"Wonder what he is up to?" Zane whispered back.

"I don't know, let's call the others!" I said.

*With Skylor*

Skylor's P.O.V~

Ugh! I can't believe my father's controlling the Stone Army, first it was wanting to led an army of Anaconrai Worshippers and now this. I thought to myself as I was being tied up against a large tree.

"General Kozu, have you finished tying up my daughter yet?" Master Chen asked.

"Yes sir!" Kozu responded.

"Good! We still have a lot to do!" Chen said walking off to see how things were going.

*Back with the Ninja*

Cole's P.O.V~

"What's up?" I asked as the rest of us reached Zane and Lloyd.

"We found one of the Stone Scouts!" Lloyd told us.

"Weird, what are they up to?" Nya asked.

"We are not to sure!" Zane whispered.

"Why don't we split up!?" Jay said.

Kai's P.O.V~

"Good idea, Me and Cole will follow the scout!" I said.

"Give us a head start, then you guys follow!" Cole said.

"NINJA-Go!" we all whisper shouted.

Me and Cole head off after the Stone Scout, we followed him until we reached the forest.

Once we got there, we hid behind a bush as to not get caught.

"Wonder what they're doing?" Cole whispered to me.

"Don't know, lets see if we can get closer!" I said.

We managed to get closer and hid behind a large rock.

From where we were behind the rock, we could see the Stone Army working something.

"Good! Looks like things are going as planned!"

We heard someone say. It was Master Chen.

"Chen!" I growled.

*Back with Skylor.*

Skylor's P.O.V~

I thought I saw Kai and Cole hide behind a rock, but I wasn't to sure.

I'm hoping it is them. I *blushed* at the thought.

I've had a crush on Kai for a while now, but haven't told him yet. I sadly thought.

"There must be away to contact them, I just need to get one of my hands free!" I said to myself.

I managed to get my right hand free and send a message on the Ninja Communicator that Nya gave to me the day we met.

*Back with Kai and Cole*

Kai's P.O.V~

I heard a beeping coming from my communicator. It was a message from Skylor.

{Help! Be held captive by father, wait till dark.} It said.

I quickly set a message back {will do}

We then waited for the rest of our team to show up.

Jay's P.O.V~

It was dark by the time we got to where Cole and Kia were hiding. We went to keep guard as Kai went to free Skylor.

We were almost free when four of the Stone Warriors caught us.

"Get them! Don't let them get away!" Chen ordered, but we managed to Spinjituz our way outa there.

Now we were fly back to the Bounty.

Skylor's P.O.V~

Once we got back, I slipped off of Flame's back and thanked Kai and the Ninja for coming to rescue me.

"It was no problem!" They said before heading to their rooms.

It looks like telling Kai how I feel will have to wait until another day.

I kissed his cheek saying "goodnight" as I headed for the couch.

Definitely a night to remember! I thought to myself as I lay down, closing my eyes. Too tired to change into my pjs.
