"BEEP BEEP BEEP!" my alarm clock cried as I slapped around sloppily for the tiny, evil machine. I glared through heavy eyelids and final foun the 'off' button. I rolled back over and gathered the blanket all around my frail body. Ten minutes later, my sister was shaking my body roughly and screaming in my ear. After five more long minutes, my obnoxious brother joined in the noise-making.
"Alright!" I screeched, sitting abruptly and throwing my hands in the cold, morning air. "I'll get up. Jut leave already." I shooed the blonde couple away and slipped daintily out of bed. Pfft, I wish it were that easy! More like I dramatically collapsed to the cold, hard floor and died a brutal death. Jeez, Louise! This was going to be a long morning.

"Hey mom, what day is it?" I asked curiously. I glanced absentmindedly around the sunlit kitchen.
"Tuesday." My only brother, Trojan, answered as he skipped into the room. Had he even heard our conversation..?
"Nonono." My mom said through a mouthful of pineapples. "It's... it's skhdhebsgjakat."
"What?" She held up a finger while she finished chewing. Finally, "Saturday."
I stared at her in shock. "S-Saturday? Like... sleep in, no school, party all night Saturday?!" She nodded slowly, looking at me like I had four heads. "This can't be happening. This can't be happening. This can't be happening..." I muttered, getting ready to kill Trojan and Gretchen.
"What is your problem today?" My mom asked in a tone that I couldn't tell if it were more confused, annoyed or worried.
"It's Saturday." She nodded slowly. "And my bratty siblings woke. Me. Up. And they're gonna get it!" I screamed as I raced out of the room.
Moral: Sometimes a girl just needs her sleep.
