AN: Hi guys! I'm still here! :)

Sorry though my updates are going very slow. Also, I edited a few chapters, not much change but you should notice that in previous chapters regarding Selena's schedule it included her 'Insurgent' shoot, I revised that and placed 'Allegiant' instead.

I'm sorry for the confusion, but after reviewing the first chapters and the timeline for this story, she should have been done with the second movie. I know it's lame for my part but I rally am sorry, I should be more keen with minor details.

Let's just please remember this is fiction and that I love each and every one of y'all.

Selena...

I awoke to a blaring sound coming very close to my ear. It takes my disoriented mind quite a while to notice that instead of my alarm, it's my ringtone that's causing the uproar and judging by its persistence it seems the caller is intent on jostling me out of the covers.

"Finally" I groaned as my hand closed on the smooth material of its jelly case after blindly fumbling for it.

I am actually tempted to give whoever this is a piece of my mind – unless it's an attractive curly head – only for me to end up jerking off the bed after sleepily peeking one eye open. It was Aleen and she never calls this early – 6:02 AM to be exact – on mornings we don't have anything planned, unless my brain proved its unreliability once again.

"Don't worry you didn't miss out on anything."

"I'm sorry I – what? I didn't?" I asked disbelievingly. "Wait, should I be offended that you already knew what I was going to say?"

Aleen snorted "I think I already know what to expect when I'm the one to wake you up in the morning."

"Fair enough" My tone matter-of-factly, giving no hint of my rolling eyes and blushing cheeks. "To what do I owe the pleasure then?"

"Um are you free for breakfast, around eight?"

I was completely caught off guard with Aleen's skittish tone, not to mention her ignoring my sarcasm that I deliberately voiced off. If there was one thing I'm certain about her, it was her tenacity to never pass on any opportunity to playfully bicker with me. If I sounded the least bit mocking – whether intended or by accident – she'll call me off in an instant and she could have a go at it for hours.

"Yeah sure. Where at?'

"Brighton's, that okay?"

Brighton's coffee shop was my utmost favourite breakfast place in Beverly Hills. But unfortunately, that was a preference I didn't share with Aleen and I don't think it was uncalled for when my eyebrows furrowed further in confusion with her suggestion. Normally, that was one of the things we could go on a debate, which is why it's long been established by the rest of our crew, that if in LA – and if could be helped – we always just start our day after the first meal. For her to suggest Brighton's foremost was way beyond normal.

"Yeah, everything okay?"

"Of course"

"Okay, I'll meet you there then" I deadpanned, knowing I won't get anything else from her and stood up, tucking the phone between my ear and shoulder as I started to tidy up the bed.

"Actually, I think Bob and Dave should pick you up?"

I froze. Now I was definitely curious.

"Aleen, you know I don't have any problems in driving myself."
