(y/n)'s pov
It was dark, A cold sweat crept down my neck as something cold pressed against my temple. A rough hand pulled away the blindfold that was covering my eyes and the darkness was replaced my a blinding light. A man stood in front of me, my father. His eyes were cold and the scar that ran from his cheekbone to his neck was oddly shiny. He had his hands behind his back as he walked towards me. "Hello darling."
I tried to talk but a cloth was stuffed harshly into my mouth. "I told you to leave it alone, (Y/n)" he continued in his gruff voice that I hated so much. "I told you, and told you, and told you." He turned away from me. "But you just kept on, and on, and on. You were too curious." I knew good and well what was going to happened next and I was angry that he couldn't face me, the coward. "And you know what they say." I began to struggle in my bonds as I heard the satisfying click of the gun. "curiosity killed the cat,"
"NO!" I sat bolt upright, sweating and panting. A hand touched my shoulder and I jumped.
"It's okay, it's me." I looked over and there was Oswald, wide-eyed and messy-haired. I took a shaky breath.
"Bad dream?" he asked putting an arm around me. I nodded, I was shaking horribly.
"It's okay, it's over," he whispered scooting closer and holding me.
"It was horrible," I cried. He kissed the top of my head and rocked me back and forth,
"shhh, It's all over, you're safe." He reached over to his bedside table and grabbed a glass of water and tipped it into my mouth.
"I'm sorry for waking you up," I said after I had swallowed.
"Don't be, everyone has bad dreams." He began to stroke my hair.
"You don't," I replied.
"I do, you just don't notice." he said.
"I would," I declared.
Oswald chuckled, "Dearest, a tornado could come through this room and you wouldn't notice."Smiled and cuddled my face into his chest.
