Chapter two:

Nalani Asani

Pulling a hoodie over her head, she slipped on a pair of sweats before grabbing her sketchbook and a pencil and walking out.

It was about three something in the morning now and since she woke up and couldn't fall back asleep, she decided to grab something to drink and draw.

Realizing that there was no guards in the cafeteria, she found a table in the back and rested her things on top as she made her way towards the vending machine.

Slipping in the amount of change she nodded to buy a drink, she typed in the code before bending down at the bottom to reach for it.

Turning around, she almost dropped the bottle of jus as she now seen a figure sitting down at a table a across from her's.

Slowly walking back, she made sure to clear her throat once she reached back but the person didn't bother looking up as they kept their head down.

"If you tryna' get my attention, it won't work by fake clearing ya' throat." She heard the person say, now realizing that it was a guy.

"I wasn't fake clearing my throat to get your attention actually." She retorted causing him to silently laugh to himself.

"You keep telling yourself that." He muttered, still loud enough for her to here.

Nalani rolled her eyes as she twisted open the cap of the bottle and stared at him as she took a sip.

"Bitch." She mumbled to herself unaware that he had heard her.

Finally raising up his head from the table, his hood slowly slid off the top of his head as his small blonde curls were now visible.

She couldn't really see his face since the lights were off but she could kind of make out how he looked from the light peeking though the window

She couldn't really see his face since the lights were off but she could kind of make out how he looked from the light peeking though the window.

"Watchu call me?" He stood up, walking over to her as she folded her arms.

"Do you think I'm scared of you?" Nalani laughed as he chuckled himself, placing both his arms on the table.

He leaned in closer to her until their faces were inches apart.

"You should be. 'Wanna know why?"

"Why?" She smiled, interested as to what he was going to say.

"I'm in here for murdering nine people and if you wanna go ahead and call me a bitch or sum' other fucking name again, I'll make you my tenth murder."

And with that he went back over to his table as she sat there, with a un fazed expression but in the inside she was scared as hell.
