Chapter 2

Eagles POV

After a few hours, AK came back in and got on his knee right in front of me and asked "you ready to talk?"

I was dead silent.

"No? Ok then. I'll be back tommarrow." He got up and started walking out.

"Fine, I'll talk."

AK turned around, and came and sat down right in front of me.

"Ok then, what's your name?"

"E-Eagle." I said as a few tears started forming in my eyes.

"Wait.. Eagle?" AK said in relizationship.

He took off my hoody and saw my face, my ears and my eyes.

"Eagle!! Your alive!!" He said as he hugged me. Then I started crying.

"Eagle, why are you crying? I'm here now, you dont have to be scared." I was silent again but still crying just a bit.

"I'm going to go tell everyone else about you, then I'll be right back with food for you, ok?" AK left the room.

He told Nick and everyone else about me, even about my ears, tail, and eyes, and that they could trust me, but the thing was they couldn't. I was going to escape, not wanting to be in a group. AK came back but this time with Nick, and I was still crying just a bit.

"So How long have you known her AK?" Nick asked.

"Since she was born, her father and I had been friends since kindergarten and we were like brothers, and when her father died I helped her mom take care of her."

"But then why did you live in Seaport?"

"I moved there about a year before this happened."

"Oh, ok." They went outside if the room and talked for a bit before coming back in. They un-handcuffed me and gave me some food and water. I devoured it almost imediantly.

"So Eagle, how have you survived this long? And where is your mom?" Nick asked.

"She's d-dead, she killed a walker and got bit while protecting me. Then she shot himself, so she wouldn't turn." I started crying again. I remembered every second, and I hated it.

"Oh, I'm sorry Eagle. Your mom was very nice, she didn't deserve to get bit." AK said.

"Thanks AK." I stopped crying as much.

"So what are we going to do with her Ak?" Nick asked.

"I don't know, she's just a kid. Maybe she can help Dr. Jin? Or maybe help cook? If she even knows how to.." AK trailed off.

"I've survived this long AK, I can do supply runs and more. So I don't have to do any of that." I retorted.

"Eagle, you may not know this but th-" AK cut off Nick.

"There's a group out there that's not so good, and a doctor named Dr. Ross who dousent like us much.. Anything he can do to harm us he will do. He's smart, and created all this. I don't want you to get hurt." AK said, trying to convince me to stay. But he's failing pretty badly.

"Dr. Ross? I know a doctor, but I don't know....
"What? You've meet a other doctor? Where?" Said Nick.
"Well, the doctor helped me a bit, but one day when I was sleeping he gave me a shot of something, and it hurt. So I went out and never went back. But then.."

"But what?" AK said.

"Nothing, nothing important."

"Ok. Hey Nick, I'm going to set up a room for Eagle, so she doesn't have to stay in here." AK said as he got up.

"Ok, AK." Nick agreed.

"Wanna come Eagle? Or do you want to stay in here?" AK asked me.

"I'll come with you, I don't like it in here it gives me the creeps." I said.

"Ok, come on then."

I got up and brought the food they gave me and followed AK to a room near their rooms. We set up a room for me and then my eyes turned purplish blue then I fell strait to sleep on the bed.

"I remeber when she was just a kid, good old memories." AK said as he walked out.
