Chapter 6

Eagles POV
After Shark left, AK walked over to Toxic. When he stopped he looked at me, then Toxic. We walked over to me and un cuffed me, then started talking to Toxic. " I already know your name, so why are you here in the first place? Eagle told me you were all behind the Washington monument when she was shot, but why?"

"Why do you care? And besides, we were just scavenging. We just heard a gunshot from the white house, so we all went towards there when we heard another shot, and saw Eagle on the ground bleeding from her leg. We thought you were bandits, so we took over the white house and helped Eagle." Toxic replied.

"Ok, but how do I know your not lying?"

"Why should I? I have no reason to lie. I honestly just wanna get out of here."

"Well ok then. I'll be asking the rest of you, and see if your stories match up. But wait, you said two shots went off. The second one was obviously the one when Eagle was shot, but when was the first one?"

"Oh ya Ak, that was me.... when I was trying to get out with Jin I shot the roof trying to say 'I'm loosing my patients' and so they must if heard it." I said.

"You are different Eagle, way different than when you were a kid." AK said, then he started tearing up a bit.

"AK are you, crying?" I said.

"NO! I'm not crying.." AK said. Then me and Toxic started laughing a bit.

"Well we better bring someone else in here, to make sure the stories match up. Shark! We're done!" AK said, then shark walked in.

"Ok, come one Toxic. I'll bring someone else in in a second, ok AK?" Shark said as Toxic walked over to him.

"Ok, got it. Hey Eagle, why don't you go get something to eat or something? You've been cramped in rooms for a while." AK said.

"Ok, I am a little hungry. Cya AK." I said. Then I left the room as I saw Shark and Toxic walking down the hallway, I thought Toxic might be hungry too. So I followed them carefully, to see which room Toxic is going to be in. When they got there, I saw Toxic go in as Shark un-cuff him and lock the door. So I went to the kitchen and got some food then went back to his room but then I saw Ghetto walking towards me. He looked at me suspiciously, and I just kept ed walking hoping that he would turn somewhere else. But he just kept following me.

Ghettos POV
I saw Eagle follow Shark and Toxic then go to the kitchen. I didn't know what she was doing, but I don't think it's good. I'm walking behind her, waiting to see what she will do. If she tries to help Toxic escape, at least I'll know it was her. We're getting close to the room and im wondering what she will do. Eagle walks into the room, so I say something as she douse.

"What are you doing Eagle?"

"I'm giving Toxic some food. He looked hungry. And after I'm giving some to the others." Eagle said.

"Can I come with you?"

"Umm sure..?? Why?"

"Well you never know." I said. Then we both walked into the room to see Toxic all beat up againts the wall on the floor. Eagle dropped the food and ran towards him, hopping onto the floor next to him.

"Toxic!?! Are you ok!?!" She said.

"Yeah yeah, I'm fine." Toxic said.

"What happened? I saw Shark bring you in here, so I went to get some food for you and the others."

"I'm sorry Eagle, but I can't tell you."

"Why not?"

"Or I'll die too. I'm sorry but I kinda want to live."

"What? How will you die? Wait, first let me get you some medical suplies, your loosing alot of blood." Eagle then went through her bag, pulling out a med-kit, bandages, and a clean wrag. She cleaned the blood and put a bandage on his scares. I just stood there and watched.

Eagles POV

After patching up Toxic, I helped him up onto a bed so he can lay down. I was scared, not knowing what happened to him and if he tells me he will die. I don't want him to die, he helped me when I was hurt now it's time for me to help him. I'm going to figure out who did this and make them pay. Then AK walked in, while Ghetto walked away.

"What happened!?!" AK said.

"I don't know AK, I just went to get some food for him and came back and me and Ghetto found him all beat up and on the floor againts the wall. I bandaged him up and helped him up onto the bed. I asked him what happened but said he couldn't tell me, or he wil d-die..."

"Die? Why?"

"I asked him, but he didn't answer. I'm scared though. Couse no one esle but someone in our group could of done this. So that means-" AK cut me off.

"We have a traitor among us. Know we just need to figure out who."

"Well I'm pretty sure it's not Ghetto since he was following me ever since I lefted the kitchen and it was far away from this room. Whoever did it had to of lefted whenever I was walking to the room."

"What about me?"

"Well what were you doing before you came into here? And why did you come into here?"

"I was interrogating Ender, and came down here to tell toxic his story checks out so far, and ro see if he was hungry."

"Told ya AK, I wouldn't lie." Toxic said, then groaned a bit. "I think I'm going to take a nap. Cya guts later." He said as he fell asleep.

"Jess was also guarding the door and left it open just a little bit, but I saw her the whole time. So I know it wasn't Jess." AK said.

"Well then that leaves Nick, Sky, Jin, and Shark."

"But didn't you see him leave Toxic in the room?"

"Yes, I did."

"Then why wouldn't he of just gone stayed in? That would if been simpler."

"Your right. But he is still on my list. You never know."

"Well now we need to ask some questions and find out who did it. And I know it won't be simple, but whoever did this is going to pay. Hard."
