Late Night Drives (Chapter 12)

Hayes POV

It was 12:36 at night. It was a cold night. It was the 4th time I had fallen asleep. You must wonder why, well it was because Danielle kept on waking me up asking if we can go for a drive. I don't know why she was asking but she must really wanted to go if she kept on waking me up every 4 minutes.

I told her I was tired since I had a long day. She was quite upset but she said she understands. As I was laying down all nice and warm I felt someone climb on top of my back, sit on me and lay down. I open one eye and see the side of Danielle's face. She looked upset and her eyes were green. She didn't know that I was looking at her, I heard her sniffle and that's when I know something was wrong. I turn a little and she gets off my back. She sits infront of me and she looks like a cute little girl

Hayes-Baby.......What's wrong?

She shrugs her shoulders and starts to tear up. I lightly grab her and sit her on my lap. She wraps her legs and arms around me and cries. I kiss her forehead then her cheek then peck her lips. She stops crying a little and lightly smiles. Her eyes are still green so I know she is still very upset.

Danielle-Hayes...*whispers*

Hayes-Yes baby*whispers back*

Danielle-Can we go for a drive.......please

Hayes-Sure

I gave in. I didn't want her being upset all night. But she might be upset about something else. I guess we can go for a little drive then come home and sleep. I then pick her up in my arms and walk to the closet. I hand her my sweater so she would be warm. I was already in sweatpants and a hoddie so I didn't really need to change.

I then walk downstairs and grab the car keys and house keys. We then leave the house and she runs off into the car. I then soon go into the car and start it. We start driving but I don't know where to

Hayes-Where are we going

Danielle-Let's drive around the neighbor hood

Hayes-ok

I do as told and we drive all over the neighbourhood. I suddenly stop cause she turns off the car. I look at her wording what's going on and then she starts to hold my hand.

Danielle POV

Danielle-Hayes I need to tell you something

Hayes-What's is it?

Danielle-You probably know I met Cameron Boyce right?

Hayes-Ya....I've been told by Boogie

Danielle-Well Cameron brought me home. An uh in the limo we were taking pictures. And uh he u-uh he then suddenly started to kiss my cheek then go down to my neck. I pushed him off and told him I had a boyfriend and then he apologized for what he did

Hayes sat there and stayed quiet. Is he mad? Is he upset? I don't know but I hope this doesn't lead to any thing bad. I start to tear up thinking the worst

Danielle- Hayes please don't be ma-*cuts off*

Hayes literally grabbed my face and pressed his lips onto mine. He kisses me and I kiss back. What did this mean? I try to pull away but he pulls me closer. I then grab the sides of his face and pull away

Hayes-I'm not mad baby

Danielle-Really?

Hayes-Ya, you did the right thing. You pulled away and said you had a boyfriend. I'm happy you did that now don't cry. I like when you smile

Danielle-I love you so fricken much Hayes*smiles*

Hayes-I love you even more

He kisses my cheek and then we started driving again. Well that went well. We went around the whole neighbourhood and I started to get tired. I felt my eyes closing and soon I'm asleep.

Hayes POV

As I look to my right I see my beautiful angel sleeping. She is so beautiful. As I turn into the drive way I park the car. I get out and walk to Danielle's side. I open her door and pick her up bridal style. She then instantly clings onto me and snuggles her head into my chest. I kiss her head then walk inside. I walk to our room and lay her down. I go turn off the light and then lay in bed. Finally some sleep. I close and sigh. As I felt sleep take over my body. Danielle climbs on me and lays down. Half of her body is on me and the other half on the bed. I smile a little and then fall asleep

Danielle-Night night
