Beach Weekend Pt 2 (Chapter 21)

Danielle POV

It was the next day and it was morning. I opened my eyes and see Kenneth. I was about to jump but then I relaxed. Weird. I look up and his head was resting on mine. And both of his arms are wrapped around me. He felt warm. This was kinda comfortable. But I have a boyfriend. But this isn't really cheating right? Like a lot of friends sleep with each. Like when girls have sleepovers they sleep with each other. I'm pretty sure boys also. Right? So there is no problem that we are sleeping right beside each other.

Plus how on earth did we get into this position. Last time I check we were both sleeping with our backs facing each other. As I think I'm pulled out of it by Kenneth talking

Kenneth-You sure like staring

I then blink a few times and realize I've been staring at him the whole time. How did I not notice?

Danielle-Oh sorry

Kenneth-You don't have to be sorry. All girls like to stare at me. What can I say I'm irresistible

Danielle-your so full of yourself

Kenneth-Ya but you love me

He hugs me and gets out of bed. I just lay down and grab my phone. As I was about to text Hayes, I get a text from Bailey saying to come to her room. I pull the covers off of me and get out of bed. I walk to her room and open the door. She smiles at me and we hug. I then Hear a voice I haven't heard since I was 14

James-So I don't get a hug either?

I turn around and squeal. I race into his arms and we twirl as we give each other a hug. I really missed him. As we pulled away I toke a good look at him. He looked great. He was kinda muscular, still had the nice blue eyes, and the same nice smile with dimples.

Danielle-It's great to see you again

James-Yup, you too

We smile and I sit beside Bailey.

Danielle-So Bails what are we doing today?

Bailey-I was thinking us girls could chill at the beach today

Danielle-Sure, I'll go let Boogie and Tati know.

I get up and walk to Tati's and Gabe's room. I knock and Tati says to come in. I walk in and she is on her phone while Gabe is sleeping with his arm around her. It looked really cute

Tati smiles at me and I sit at the edge of the bed.

Tati-Morning Dani, what's up?

Danielle-Bailey suggested that us girls chill at the beach today. What do you think?

Tati-Sure, id love too.

I nodded and then was about to leave the room. But then Tati motions me back. I sit back down. She then whispered

Tati-Guess what Boogie told me

Danielle-What?

Tati-When the boys asked Kenneth why he cheated on you. He told them not to worry or care about it

I was shocked and a little angry. How dare he say that. But he said that they shouldn't care. Which kinda pushed my buttons.
