Rainstorm | Johnson

y/n POV:

I heard the sound of rain falling outside my living room window, I'm currently home alone with my dog.

I got up and looked out the window and saw what I expected, rain.

I decided to go outside so I put on a cute army green colored coat and my white converse, also grabbing an umbrella and my dog, I carried him outside and opened up my umbrella.

I love watching the rain.

Me and my ex-boyfriend would always come outside when it was raining and just watch it, and since we broke up its something I just do on my own.

He actually lives up the street from my house, and to say I miss him? That's an understatement because who wouldn't miss someone they once loved? Our break up was kind of well.. Because of my ex-friend, she was never a best friend, but let's not talk about that.

I kept holding onto my dog as I decided to walk up the street to an old park I would play at when I was a little girl.

I sat under the roof thing on a bench, watching the rain fall on the playground.

Just then I saw Jack, my ex-boyfriend walking along the sidewalk with nothing keeping him dry but his jacket hood.

As I was looking at Jack, my dog immediately jumped off my lap and ran over to him.

"Lucy!" I yelled out at my dog. He's a yorkie so she's a small dog. (shoutout @applejacks6 I used your name for the dog, your a dog now)

Jack saw me and his eyes perked up. Lucy was barking at him to be picked up, so of course he picked her up, saying hi and all that.

Then he started walking over to me.

"Hey" he said, "here's your dog, she still loves me." He laughed.

"Yeah" I smiled slightly.

He handed my dog to me as I grabbed her and she sat up on my lap.

"Thanks Jack." I said smiling slightly still.

"No problem." He said.

"So how are you?" I asked.

"I'm good, and you?"

"Pretty good."

He nodded. "Well I should get going. But I'll see you tomorrow at school?"

"For sure!" I said with a little excitement I don't know why though.
