I heard a big boom. I assumed it was someone else coming in to hurt us. I still kept that position I was originally in, trying to protect us both, and trying to keep her calm. I quickly glanced at Alex, and it looked like she was going to cry.
I whisper into her ear, 'everything is going to be okay.'
She smiled and nodded.
I shut my eyes, and opened them to the sound of my brother saying everything is going to be fine.
I let go of Alex and at the same time, we both said 'what happened?!'
Mark told us to come to the back of the bus. We sat down. And Mark said-
'You both were on the verge of being attacked by 2 men. I heard the commotion from the other bus, and came to your's to see what was happening. The door was locked, so I thumped on the door, which came out as a boom. I forced myself in by lock picking. When I got inside, I saw 2 men with knives. I punched one in the face, and tackled the other one. They both ran out. I came running to you and saw that you were just standing, hugging Alex
.
I shouted in your ear after calling your name about 20 times. Then you opened your eyes and yeah.
Alex and I was startled hearing that. 'I'll leave you both here, bye ', Mark said.
We both hugged Mark, then he left.
'if it was not for him, we would have been d-de-' I could not even finish my sentence without bursting into tears.
Alex calmed me down. We sat there for about 15 minutes when I decided to break the silence.
'So, do you like to sing?' , I asked Alex.
'Yes! You inspired me!' She replied.
I smiled and said 'let's sing!'.
So for the next 2 hours, we were singing my old covers from YouTube. I realized I should tell Team Grimmie about what happened. After all, They are my second family. So I tweeted out a few sentences. I almost immediately got hundreds, then thousands of replies.
It was almost 12:30 am. Alex and I went to our bunks and slept. We did the same thing for the next few days.
Author's note: I am already so many chapters Ahead of what you are reading :) The weekend is over, and it is test season for me :(
