Alex's POV

I was too late. The man had shot her. She was gone. All because of me. I was just a split second late. Next, that monster came up to me and did the same.

Suddenly I woke up, and opened my eyes. I looked at the clock and it said '2:05 AM'. That dream was so realistic. It looked almost too real.

'It was only just a dream', I kept reminding myself, also thinking of the cover Christina did a few years ago.

My vision was getting blurry and I suddenly burst into tears. This could have really happened. I wiped my tears from my eyes with my hands, and got out of the bed. I opened the shut door and walked out of Christina's room. I walked to where the stairs were, and proceeded to walk down. The lights were on in the living room, so I went there, seeing if Christina was there. As I thought, there was Christina sitting on the couch talking with her parents, also with Her dog- Chloe sleeping on the coffee table.

'What's wrong Alex?', Christina asked.

I sniffled and sort of 'whimpered'. She walked up to me and carried me upstairs into her room. She sat me down on her bed, and then sat beside me.

'What's wrong sweetie?' She asked again

I took a deep breath and replied, 'I- I had a nightmare'.

I wiped away a couple of tears when Christina then asked 'what was it about?', with a concerned look on her face.

'I could not save y-you, then the same thing happened to m-me, and it was so detailed.'

'Don't worry, it was only just a dream. It won't happen to either of us.', she said in a comforting tone.

I hugged her, then laid down. Christina laid down beside me. I was on my ds for a bit, then I put it down after a few minutes of gaming.Once I got comfortable, I moved up closer to her, and wrapped my arms around I got into a comfortable position. and then she sang to me for a bit. After a few minutes, she was asleep. I was there with thoughts in my mind.
Nobody cared for me as much as her.
Nobody was as nice to me as much as her.
I cannot thank her enough.
After a few minutes, I fell asleep also.

I woke up pretty early, considering how late I slept. I glanced over to the clock, and it read 8:45 AM. The sun was shining brightly in the room. I rolled over to the nightstand- without waking up Christina, and picked up my iPod touch. I checked my social medias and emails and stuff like that, until I heard Christina move slightly on the other side of the bed. I turned around, and saw her slowly open her eyes. She yawned for a second, stretched, and said

'Good morning Alex!', in a very bubbly tone.

'Good morning!', I replied.

'How was the rest of the night for you?', she asked after.

'It was really good. I never slept this well in a long time.', I said

She chuckled in response to my response.
