After a random moment of silence, Christina spoke up.
'I think you should go freshen up'.
I nodded
She continued, 'I'll leave you a pair of clothes.'
I nodded again.
I stepped out of the bed and walked to the restroom. I opened the door, and saw there were already clothes there. It were a pair of basketball shorts and a green Zelda shirt with the hyrule crest on it.
I took a shower, wore the clothes, and walked out of the restroom. I heard Christina's Parents taking to- I assume Christina.
Suddenly I heard Mark call my name from downstairs, saying 'Alex! Breakfast is Ready!'
I walked down the stairs, then to the kitchen, where Mark was. He was sitting at the dining table with a plate of pancakes in front of him.
'Hey, you can come sit beside me', he said.
I sat down and began eating the pancakes that were in front of me.
'So do you play video games?', I asked Mark, trying to make small talk.
'yeah, league of legends is my fave!', he replied.
And that somehow turned into a heated debate on which species of spiders would make a good president.
I finished my breakfast, and put the cutleries in the dishwasher, and walked to the stairs to go upstairs to Christina's room.
That moment, I heard someone else coming down the stairs. It was Christina.
'Hey, can you come to my room?', she asked me in a sort of an unsure, shaky tone.
I nodded, then walked up the stairs with her, to her room, wondering about what is it for.
