This is a short chapter, but I hope you like it. (If someone reads it xd)

Nicole's POV

After Jarrod and I came inside my parents were sitting on the couch watching TV. It was about wildlife in Washington state. When I saw a wolf I jumped up and patted my mum on her shoulder. "I told you there would be wolfs here!" I said. I laugh a little now I think back. I've always loved mythical creatures, but werewolves are my favorites. Not that I really believed in them, but if they turn out to be real, I'd be the least surprised person on earth. I also love normal wolves, I even refused to go to a zoo were weren't any wolves. Jarrod used to bully me because of that, until I found out he is at least as obsessed about vampires as I'm about werewolves. That was three years ago, since then we watch movies like twilight and underworld together. I absolutely hate it when werewolves are pictured as those half-human-half-wolf-things with greasy hair strands and claws and fangs full of blood. I only like those werewolves who look like large wolves as in twilight and the mortal instruments. And Jarrod hate sparkling vampires. No offence Edward, but I agree with that. Also vampires who die from garlic, or has to count all the grains and that kind of stuff.

'I'm going to sleep' I think by myself. I turn off the light and look around my new room. I really like it, I hope that I'll like my new school and the people in this town too. I'm glad it's Christmas, I don't have to go to school for two weeks. Which is nice because now I can get used to the new house and maybe get to know some people before I go to school. I wonder if we get a Christmas tree, normally we put up our little Christmas tree, but not this year, because of the move. I look on my alarm clock on the nightstand, it's almost eleven o'clock. Just as I decide to go to sleep, I hear a little buzzing from my drawer. When I open it I see it's my cell phone.

"Hello, your speaking with Nicole Marshall." I answer sleepily.

"Since when are we doing so distant to each other? I thought we'd still be friends after you moved?" I hear an familiar voice asking me.

"David! I'm so sorry I didn't expected you to call already! How are you?" I almost yell at one of my best friends who I've known for years. The memory of our kiss comes up, which I quickly drop again. We are just friends, especially now we live so far away from each other.

He laughs, "I already miss you, but I'd better ask you, how's your new house?"

"It's better than I expected, It's really big and beautiful, but also very old and creepy the same time. You really miss me?"

"Of course Nicky, your my friend. Though It doesn't seems like Megan and Lisa miss you. They were crying a lot, until they saw the new inhabitants...They have two sons, Tristan and Carter" He makes a gagging sound. "Megan wants Tristan and Lisa wants Carter."

I smile, "Already thought something like that, I just knew them for two years and they are each other's best friend since kindergarten. What about Emma and Tom?"

"They do miss you, we all really do. We'd like to come by soon."

"Sounds good, but if you don't mind I think I go to sleep now."

"Oke," David replies, "I'll call you back later, goodnight."

"Goodnight Dave." We hang up. I already expected Megan and Lisa to forget me soon. They've always been a bit outside our group because they were always together, or busy with boys. Then finally, I let myself drop on my new king-size bed and slowly fall asleep.
