I'm back with another one-shot woot woot!

Sitting at your desk, you pull out a piece of paper and write down a few things that you want to do for the day when your phone starts ringing with that special ringtone that's just for Luke.

Picking up the phone, you accept the call. "Hey Penguin!"

Instead of hearing a response all you heard was a little sniffle on the other side of the phone. "Luke are you okay? Why are you crying?"

"You were right y/n..."

"Luke, what was I right about?"

"She never loved me. She was just using me for fame. How could I be so blind? How could I be so stupid?"

"Luke, you aren't stupid. You were in a blind love. You felt like you were truly in love and that's okay. It's okay to love someone. Even if that love doesn't last. There's a perfect girl out there for you. You will find her I promise or maybe she'll find you. You never know but you will fall in love and that love will last forever"

Luke let out little sniffles throughout your little speech and when you finished Luke whispered "why do you make me so much happier then she ever did?"

Your eyes widened  "I- I- I don't know"

Luke murmured over the phone "Dammit y/n. I'm pretty sure I've already found my perfect girl and I think she's you."

"Luke"

"Y/n"

"How can you be sure?"

"Well I realized it while you were talking. All these years you've been by my side. You've been my go to girl for almost anything. You're funny and sweet. You have the heart of gold. You like the same music. We have the same friends. You prefer a night in with cuddles over a night out at a bar. You're just perfectly made for me and it took me this long to even realize it."

"You have no fucking idea how long I've loved you, you big idiot"

Luke laughed and you could practically hear his smile. "When I get home I'm going to take you out on a date"

Smiling you reply "sounds like a plan Mr. Rockstar"

Luke whispers over the phone "I love you y/n"

"I love you too Lukey"
