You were packing your bags. Luke didn't know that you had to leave, you didn't know either until earlier that day. This happening was the one thing you wished had never happened.

Some of the management team had a talk with you while Luke was showering, basically they were telling you that you needed to leave and lose contact with your boyfriend. Long story short they were being a bunch of assholes and trying to control your life.

Management had it planned that you were going to be leaving Luke and making it seem like you were the bad guy but that wasn't your plan. The only person or well people you were going to blame was management themselves.

You were almost completely packed when the door opened and the boys walked in. The panic set in and you whipped around to face them.

"Baby... what's going on? Why are you packing?"

Finally the pressure got to you and you burst out in tears. Luke came over and wrapped his arms around you and held you close. "Babygirl, what's wrong?"

"T-they're making us b-break up"

Luke pulled away quickly and looked at you in shock. "Who is?"

Calum spoke up "didn't management come to see you earlier y/n?"

Nodding your head you looked up to see Luke's face. He was mad. Mad at management. Mad at the world. Mad at everything. When he asked you to join them on tour he didn't ask for management to break you up.

All of you knew it was because management wanted drama in the fandom. They wanted to create something that would make the band go in the newspapers. But the way they were doing it was wrong. Threatening the girlfriend of one of the band members was not the way to go.

"Those fucking bastards. Fuck baby we'll get it fixed, please stay. Please don't leave me"

Although you wanted to stay you slowly shook your head. "No Luke, I can't. If I don't leave by- shit"

Luke's hands tilted your face towards him. "If you don't leave by what?"

A sigh escaped your lips and you closed your eyes. "They'll make the story worse and make the fans hate me. I mean the fans are already going to hate me anyways and half of them hate me right now just because I'm dating you."

"Babygirl, the fans don't hate you. I swear you're the only girlfriend that I think any of us have ever had that has been loved just as much as one of us have been. I'm pretty sure there is an y/n's lane. You are so loved in this fandom. Please don't leave me."

Sobs fell from your lips as you hugged Luke. You didn't want to let go. Ever. No matter how many times he pleaded with you, no matter how many times you almost gave in. You had to hold yourself and let it happen. Although doing this would hurt, it would hurt more to deal with the things the management team would put you through.

They would make your relationship living hell if you didn't do what they want. One thing you did know was that you weren't going to stop talking to Luke. You'd figure out a way to talk to him.

Tears were running down your face as you pulled Luke's head farther down so you could kiss him. "I love you Lukey, I love you so much"

"Y/n, please don't leave me. Please, baby"

Resting your forehead against his, you take a deep breath. "I'm so sorry Luke, I never wanted this to happen"

Backing away from your boyfriend, you zipped your suitcase and put it onto its wheels. You picked up your bag, grabbed your phone and the handle of your suitcase.

Luke's hands were trying to grab at your waist to keep you in the room but Michael and Ashton were right there holding him back. All the boys knew how much you didn't want this to happen but they also knew the consequences if you didn't comply.

Calum walked over to you and grabbed the handle of your suitcase from you. Calum gently led you to the door, Luke was sobbing in the background and screaming "Y/N PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME"

The door closed and you were ready to throw your stuff down and go back inside. Instead you walked over to the elevator. Calum clicking the button and leading you inside.

"You know, I plan on blaming this on them. They don't have control over what I do. They can't tell me that I have to remove it."

Calum looked at you and nodded weakly. "This is going to break you guys. You haven't been without each other in five years, suddenly being torn away from the other will tear you in half."

Leaning against the wall of the elevator, quiet breaths escaped your lips. Although this would break you, you would always find a way back to Luke. He's the love of your life and no management team can ever break that connection no matter how hard they try.

"We're going to try to break the contract with them"

Your head snaps up at Calum in shock "wait what?"

Calum mumbled "they control us and hinder us from being our real selves. We've been talking about it and looking around for other management companies that would allow us to be us."

The elevator dinged and the doors opened. The two of you came out and saw the security team they sent for you waiting. Calum hugged you and whispered in your ear "I'll contact you about Luke" before he pulled away sadly smiled at you.

They led you out to the car and all you could do was sit there with tears running down your face looking out the window at the rain that seemed to match your emotions.

You were leaving your favourite person behind all because a damn management team decided they had to break up a perfectly healthy relationship for some drama that no one ever likes.

This was a different I guess lol. Honestly the reason this came into my mind was because I was going to camp and leaving my friends behind for a week, I felt so guilty but also so thankful to get away from the drama of the Internet. Now I'm back tho and was finally able to finish this one-shot. It's much longer then mine are usually so that's fairly surprising on my end but hey if I'm inspired then I'm going to write my heart out!

What were your thoughts? Did I go a little overboard or was it the perfect amount of sadness/despair?

Okie dokie I'm going to go possibly work on another one-shot or just not idk it all depends if I'm in the mood to continue!
