Chapter 6.5 ~Promise Me Again~ (Continuation)

~Isabel's POV~

"Isabel, why did you you wake me up at this hour? We have an expedition in the morning. We are literally only a couple hours away from going outside the gates to face the titans." Farlan yawned. "Shhhh. Don't speak so loud. We don't want to get caught." I looked around the corner to make sure there weren't any people. "Then where are you taking me?" He questioned. "Look, I was only half awake, but I saw (Y/N) leave the room with Levi. I just want to know what they are doing." 

"Yes. I do and always will."  

Both Farlan and I halted our movements. I put my index finger on my lips to signal Farlan to be quiet. Once he got the message, he nodded at me. I peaked around the corner only to see (Y/N) and Levi kissing. I quickly turn around because I didn't know how to react. Farlan moves in front of me and peaks around the corner too. He stared longer then I did, but calmly turned back towards me. 

"Let's go back to our rooms." Farlan quietly whispered to me. "What?! Do you see what they are doing?! Big Bro never told us that he liked (Y/N)!" I whisper shouted at him. 'I can't believe (Y/N) and Levi are kissing!' I think to myself in disbelief.  

"Isabel. Let them be. Now let's go back to our rooms before they hear us." Farlan tried grabbing onto my shoulders, but I pushed his hands away causing him to hit his hand and letting out a small hiss from the pain. 

"Tch. I know you guys are hiding. Come here before I beat the shit out of you two." 

I looked over at Farlan and he had the same expression as I did. Fear.

'Oh shoot.'

~Levi's POV~

As I was enjoying the sensation of having (Y/N)'s lips on mine, I could hear those two idiots whispering. As much as I wanted to keep holding onto (Y/N), I had to break the loving moment we were sharing. I pulled away slowly and looked into those beautiful (e/c) eyes. She looked back with a knowing smile. 

"Tch. I know you guys are hiding. Come here before I beat the shit out of you two."

Isabel and Farlan slowly walked out from behind the door frame. 

"Oh h-hey Big Bro. Umm... So how's your night going? Farlan and I just wanted to, you know, take a walk. We didn't know you guys were out here. We were just passing by, you know. Hehe." Isabel nervously said, trying not to make eye contact with me. 

"So, Levi. Are you going to explain to us now about you and (Y/N)?" Farlan looked at me with his arms crossed. Isabel looked at him in shock, surprised he asked that.

"Tch, fine. I suppose it's finally the time to tell you guys the truth, but only if (Y/N) is okay with it." I looked down at her to get her consent. 

"I mean, sure. Since you guys are my only friends, I want to share my past with you guys." (Y/N) looked up and smiled. 

"Past? You guys shared a past together?! Why did-" Isabel was cut off by Farlan covering her mouth. "Shh. They're about to tell us idiot. Shut up." 

"I'm going to keep it fairly short. No questions until the end. You hear me?" I looked at Isabel, she nodded quickly. 

"Okay. (Y/N) and I grew up in the Underground together. After her parents died in a fire, she pretty much lived with my mother and I. We used to do everything together when were younger. However, after what happened to my mother, I left with my uncle. I'm sorry I didn't say anything (Y/N), I just didn't know what to say." I could feel her squeeze my hand in a way of accepting my apology. "Once my uncle left, I lived on my own, until I met you two. I apologize for not telling you two sooner. I just didn't want you to get involved into my own problems."

~(Y/N)'s POV~  

That's what happened. I'm sorry Levi I wasn't there when you needed somebody. 

I looked over at Isabel and Farlan to see their reactions. Of course, Isabel looked confused and surprised, and Farlan looked with understanding. 

"What?! You guys were childhood friends?!" Isabel was pacing back and forth with her hands scratching her head in disbelief. "I can't believe after all this time! Oh my god Levi! Now you guys are dating?!" 

I blushed once I realized that Levi and I are technically dating now since we claimed our love for each other. It is nice thought to know that Levi and I are together. 

"Yes. (Y/N) and I are officially dating. Now can keep it the fuck down? I don't Commander Shit Stain to come out here." Levi looked over at Isabel with an annoyed expression.

"Finally. I guess you really didn't need my help after all Levi. I'm proud of for getting a girlfriend." Farlan looked like a proud father. 

"Tch, shut the fuck up." I giggled as Levi looked as if he was going to punch Farlan in the dick. 

"Hey guys?" All three of them looked over at me. "I'm glad to finally have a family again. It feels nice. We are going outside the walls tomorrow and there is high chance we might die, but I just want us to promise something to each other. Let's make a promise to never leave each other. We will protect each other outside of those walls." 

"Of course (Y/N)! I promise to kick the shit out of those titans and protect all three of you!" Isabel threw her fist into the air. 

"I promise (Y/N). Now that Levi is fully happy because of you, I don't want him to beat the shit out of the Commander because you died." Farlan patted my shoulder in a friendly way. I looked over at Levi. He was almost smiling as he was lost in thought.

"Levi?"

~Levi's POV~

Huh, promise to never leave each other? I guess she's giving me a second chance to keep my promise. Of course, now that have a family again, I have a reason for fighting. I promise, I will never leave any one of you. Even if it costs me my own life.

"Levi?" (Y/N) looked over at me with concern.

"I promise to never leave you three." I looked straight at her, to show that I won't break this promise a second time.

"Okay then. It's a promise then. Now let's go get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." I grabbed (Y/N)'s hand.

"Yeah, let's go. I'm really sleepy after all this talk." Isabel yawned.

"I agree. Let's go get some rest." Farlan started leading the way back to our rooms. Isabel followed behind.

"Let's go Levi." (Y/N) tugged on my hand and started walking towards Farlan and Isabel.

"Yeah, let's go."

A/N

Yo, sorry I suck at updating. But thank you to all of those who have been voting for my story. I know this is a pretty short chapter, but I felt as though the last chapter didn't make any since because of the chapter title. I made a continuation chapter because it explains what happened to Levi (also because it goes with the title of the chapter). 

Also, second season of Attack on Titan. Lit. I've already the manga, but the animation really brings it to life. I cried at the end of episode one. R.I.P Mike.
