Chapter 28

The soft breeze moved a piece of hair from my head, making it tickled my cheek. I held my hair in one hand as the other found it way to my phone in my pocket. That thing had vibrated in there for the past 5 minutes.

I unlocked the password and saw 5 unread messages from Seungri and Daesung, 4 unanswered calls from Taeyang and TOP, and 4 voicemail from all of them.

I shook my head at them, and deleted all of it. They gestured make my heart melt a little.

They cared.

Someone cared for me.

Tears start to blurred my vision. I held my head high and look up to the bright blue sky. The sun were still shining proudly up there, spreading its heat to all creatures around here. It melted some of ice creams the kids had been holding before.

One of them fell to the ground. Creating a big chocolate pole on the hard stoned ground with a cone on the middle of it. The topping, which was a dark chocochips, spread flat on the floor, dirtying the cold stoned ground once again.

Ice cream...

The same dessert I eat when it happened.

Jinhwan and the others were helping Hanbin pack his stuff in the room while me and their manager wait for them to finish outside. I was texting Taeyang at the moment, he and the others had worried sick when they realized I'm not at the building nor my apartement.

Taeyang told me that GD were on his way here to pick me up. He said something about introducing me to the staffs at lunch as their step daughter.

Holly shit....

"Umm... sorry if its rude but who are you?" I look up from my phone.

"Ah.... you could say I'm Hanbin's friend...." I trailed, not knowing what to say. Is it okay if I told him I was with Big Bang?

He raised an eyebrow at me.

"And you happen to know Taeyang then?"

I gaped at him.

Did he saw my text before???

"I didn't mean to...I'm sorry..." He said quickly when he saw my expression.

Oh well...

"They adopted me." I faked a smile at him.

"What?....H-how come??" He croaked out.

Nosey nosey~ hmm

"H-how?...um.... it just happened I guess..." I trailed off.

"Okay? Since when?" Gosh so nosey, line up old man.

"Just today" I faked a smile again.

"Oh..." Thank God, finally🎉

Hanbin and the others walk out after that. They decided to just go back to their dorms as Hanbin need to rests. I told them I'm not going with them, someone was on their way here to pick me up.

"Is it Big Bang?" The manager asked. Again.

"Yes." I faked a smile. It had only been a day since they adopted me and its already annoying as hell.

And to think there's only one.

I walked out the hospital together with them. iKON's manager never left my side even for a seconds, well I don't really mind though. He told me that he was a VIP, so we chatted a bit about them.

"What do you think about Nana?" He asked me.

"What do you mean?" I said back to him as we walk.

"You know... the fans went ballistic with their dating scandals, especially the ladies.."

I nodded my head

"Yeah, I'm okay with it but there's just some stuff thats nagging me... I mean, their age gap was pretty big, and some fans said that after the rumours went around, she got jobs offer much more than before. So not to be rude but, its sounds like she was only using him." I stuffed my palm onto my pocket.

"Yeah... but doesn't that always happen? I mean remember Kiko? She got lots of jobs to after their scandal broke."

"But Kiko was already famous before it happens, so its different"
He nodded his head.

We finally reached the parking lot. Hanbin and the others were still behind us as they're using the snail's step through of the hallway, so we waited for a good couple of minutes again for them.

"So..... thanks for coming here I guess...." Hanbin trailed.

I nodded my head.

"Yeah, and next time you better tell Yunhyeong not to spray the ketchup to your eyes."

Hanbin laughed.

"Yeah... I'll make sure of that."

"Good. Have some mercy on them, they're supposed to land on something tasty. Not something unpure." I patted his arm and waved, before walking away.

I pulled out my phone to type a text for GD, I want ask him where he is.

"So.... only using me eh?" A familiar voice cut off my type mid way. I turned around and saw GD looking at me with a blank face.

"What?" I asked him confused.

He shooked his head.

"A little advise for you, 1. If you know something that doesn't include you, its better if you just keep your mouth shut. And 2. Don't judge someone you've only knew from Cyber world."

I gape at him

"W-wha....?" I trailed off.

He glared at me harshly, making me flinch.

"Mind your own business, me dating Nana or not was none of yours to deal with so shut up..."

He walked away sighing, before muttering words that made me frozen.

"I'm really considering adopting you now."
