Mikuo x Reader!

As  you stared back at him, you felt yourself getting weaker and angrier at the same time. You wanted to break into tears but snap at his playboy face as well. Not sure which one to pick, you whirled around your heels , grabbed Luki by the arm and marched to his room upstairs before Mikuo could say anything.

How angry you were right now. After what happened, how could he still be able to show himself in front of you?!

You plopped yourself on Luki's bed while Luki closed the door quietly and took a seat next to you.

"Y/n, I'm-" Luki started but you cut him off.

"What is he doing here?!" you shouted angrily. "What is that cheater doing here..." you repeated but now your voice was cracking and tears began to stream down your face.

Luki hugged you and let you cry on his chest while rubbing your back to ease your shaking heart.

Mikuo's POV

"Hey Mikuo," Miku said as she munched on her leek bun.

"Hm?" I said, not really interested in whatever she wanted to talk about. All I could think about was y/n.

My heart started to ache. 'Her face...how could I do that to her? Why did I do that?! W-why did I cheated on her? Why did I...? Oh, god... What have I done? I broke her heart... I know she has a very fragile heart, yet I still-'

"Luka invited me to study at her place after school," Miku was saying. "Coming?"

"No."

"Eh...? I thought y/n is your girlfriend," said the oblivious Miku. "She'll be there, too."

My senses picked up at the mention of y/n's name.

"Y/n? She'll be there, too?" I asked again, to clarify.

Miku nodded and dusted her hands off her skirt and covered her lunch box before tying it up neatly.

"Sure then," I said. "I have to make things right after all..." I muttered the rest making Miku tilted her head in wonder.

"Geez, Miku! We'll be late!" I scolded her for that.

She was still walking like a diva as if she had no plans after this. I myself started to doubt about Luka's invitation that Miku was talking about during recess time.

"What's the rush, Mikuo?" she asked, confused. "We're just going home, aren't we? If it's about dinner-"

I hit her head and she yelped in both surprise and pain. "We're studying at Luka's, remember?" I reminded. "Stupid, sister!"

She gasped and glared at me. "Why didn't you say that sooner?" she yelled back. "Stupid, brother!"

"Ah, everyone! Sorry, we're late!" Miku had rushed to the half-opened front door and was panting desperately for air, bending to her knees for support.

Feeling a little nervous at y/n's reaction, I decided to walk a bit slower, thinking what I should say to her later on. 'I must find a way to apologise to her.'

"Wait, 'we' you said?" came the familiar, lovely voice that made my heart ached more just by hearing it.

'Y/n...'

The door was just a few feet away and I got more nervous that I had ever experienced before in my life. I stepped in behind Miku and scanned what was before me only to see y/n, standing there shocked as she stared back into my eyes with that e/c of hers. I could see various of mixed emotions plastered on her face way too obviously and I hate to see that she was about to cry because of my presence.

'She cried...because of me..'

I wanted to call her name when she suddenly turned around and grabbed Luki, who was staring at me as well and towed him upstairs.

How hurt my heart was seeing her off with another male. 'She must have felt the same or worse when she saw what I was doing the yesterday...' I thought and gritted my teeth. 'You're really stupid, Mikuo!'

"I love y/n...yet I don't appreciate her... So now what? She's gone now, all thanks to your stupid head, Mikuo!" I snapped at myself quietly as a tear fell down my cheek.

A hand suddenly reached out and wiped the tear away. Surprised, I glanced upwards to see Luka smiling at me.

"I'll talk to others. Make sure you make good use of the moment correctly then," she whispered.

I just nodded my head and smiled back, feeling very grateful. "Thanks..."
