Mikuo x Reader!

3rd person's POV

Luka had called you and Luki downstairs to eat dinner first before proceeding to studying. As you stepped into the kitchen, your gaze immediately fell upon your ex-boyfriend seated at the dining table, making you stop in reflex at the doorway. You felt like running away and never to come back until  Luki touched your shoulder gently and ushered you forward towards the others. Luka and Rin served dinner while you took a seat next to Len while Luki beside Mikuo. Len glanced at you before pulling you close to him and you blushed slightly the unexpected move from the blond male.

"W-what?" you asked.

"Hey," he whispered. "If Mikuo is to apologise to you, what would you do?"

You subconsciously casted a glance towards Mikuo who was staring down at his own hands beneath the table. You felt kind of pity seeing him like that. Well, after all you still loved him. A quick counter acted in your mind, making you think vice versa. 'Hmph, like I care! You hurt me, you deserve it!'

"No, I'm not going to forgive him."

Len looked quite worried somehow. "Are you serious, y/n?" he asked again. "He's-"

"I really despise the one who breaks my trust," I said loudly, getting angrier at the moment that everyone in the house heard it.

Mikuo tensed up and you noticed it.

'Hmph!' you growled inside. 'Eat that! Don't you dare to crawl back to me after what you've done! I'm never going to accept you anymore.'

You were expecting to see Mikuo get up and leave but he didn't. He just sat there and began to eat quietly while others began to talk about the usual stuffs. You, who was been observing him thought again to yourself.

'Am I being unfair? I mean-he's the one who cheated on me. So whatever I'm doing to him is nothing in comparison with what he'd done to me...right?' your heart slowly began to soften and you couldn't help but to feel sad at what you've done to him. Your words seemed to affect him so much.

What is he does apologise to you? What would you do then? Would you be together again? But even if you did get together, if he's going to cheat on you again, then what's the whole point in getting back together? Even if you didn't get back together, at least if he cheated again, it's not going to be you who'll get hurt. Then again, everyone should deserve to get a second chance.

How kind-hearted you were and Luki knew exactly what you were thinking about right now and he was ready to let you get back to Mikuo. Even if he knew that he would be hurt. But he was more happy knowing that you would be happier with Mikuo than with himself. But before that, he needed a word with the teal-haired male.

Alone.
