Ch.12- You're Wrong

Nicki's P.O.V

After I picked Terrel up from school, and Ayesha had gotten her little brother, we went back to my place.

I ordered a couple pizzas for all of us. Jonas and Terrel sat in the living room zombified playing games on the T.V. while Ayesha and I went back to my room.

We sat on the bed talking.

"So, that new little boy who came here just in time for basketball season. What's going on with yall?" I asked before taking a bite of pizza.

She thinks I have no clue about him, but I see them talking and smiling at each other in the hall. I know she isn't smiling at her phone all googly eyed for nothing, just like she was a few minutes ago. That's why I actually brought it up.

She tried to avoid my face, but I could still see her blushing pink cheeks.

"Uh who, Stephan?"

I smacked my lips.

"Don't play dumb with me little girl."

"Ok, ok. We're just um... Talking." she looked down into her lap smiling hard.

She is so cute I've never seen her crush over a guy this hard.

"Talking as in, to be more?" I batted my lashes at her, and she looked up rolling her eyes trying not to smile.

"I don't know I mean... Maybe." she shrugged.

"Well shit you better figure out soon, Mr. Man is a baler. He going places for sure, and if you don't take him hell I might turn straight for his Lil rich ass."

Ayesha smacked her lips before pushing my arm and I chuckled evoking a smile from her.

"Chill out, you know I'm playing. But what is he doing up here anyways? He gotta know our basketball team ain't shit." I spoke before taking a bite of pizza.

"Well he actually moved up here for his AAU team or something like that I think. He goes to this one coach whose been coaching him ever since he was a kid, along with his dad of course. But his dad always said if anybody was gonna coach his kid it would be that coach. So whatever team he goes to coach for, they go with him and... Well now he's here." she finished with a little smug smirk.

"Mmm look at you already knowing everything about him." I taunted her, and she blushed again.

"I don't know everything I just-"

"Know everything besides his favorite color." I finished for her and she laughed.

"Leave me alone." she blushed once again.

"Nah but for real he seems like a good boy. I think you should give him a shot, plus if things don't work out and he's a cheating ass nigga I'll just kill him."

She laughed.

"Thank you Nika." she smiled.

I just found it funny how she thought I was seriously joking. I'm dead ass serious. I could make even someone quickly on the rise like him dissapear without a trace. He better not test me.

"So what was up with you earlier? You seemed angry all day. Was it about what happened?" she asked changing topics.

"Oh no I wasn't mad about that at all." I shrugged.

"Oh, ok... Well uh then what was it?"

I thought for a minute before I spoke.

"Just... Some irrelevant ass female pissed me off."
