Ch.14- For Real This Time

Onika's P.O.V

Practice ended quite normally, which was surprising considering all that's happened this morning.

But I'm not one to question a good atmosphere so I carried about my business and went to get ready for school like I usually do.

After I had changed I stood in the mirror redoing my hair pulling it back up into another sleek ponytail.

Through the mirror I suddenly caught sight of Ayesha and Sydel talking, they looked in my direction. Not too much long after Sydel was approaching me as I walked back to my locker.

"Hey umm... Ayesha told me you have pre calculus first block?" She asked timidly.

"Yeah I do." I nodded.

"Can you show me where it is? I have it first block too."

"I thought you were a sophomore." I scrunched my eyebrows up.

"Oh I am but, I really like math and the last school district I was in, we had the chance to do algebra in seventh grade and I guess I am really good at it too so... yeah now I'm a sophomore in pre-cal."

I simply nodded slowly before pushing my locker shut and turning to leave.

"You ready?" I asked looking over my shoulder.

"Uhh yeah." She quickly nodded pulling her backpack up on her arms.

With that the both of us headed out of the locker room.

At first our walk was silent, but then I began to wonder why I hadn't seen her in my class before today, because it certainly wasn't her first day here.

"Why don't you know where it is?"

"Huh?"

"Pre-calculus. It's not your first day why don't you know where the class is?"

"Oh they messed up my schedule and tried to give me Algebra 2. They thought I hadn't taken it yet although it clearly said so on my records. But they just now fixed it sooo, it's my first day in this class."

I nodded as we continued our walk through the hall. Not long after we arrived at the classroom.

Upon entering the room coach Knowles sat at her desk just typing away.

I just starred, I wanted to look away from her stupid ass, but she's so damn cute.

She looked up catching my gaze, quickly she noticed Sydel beside me and tried not to get all wide eyed before she looked back down at her computer. I chuckled to myself before walking towards my desk.

"You can sit wherever." I spoke casually.

She chose to sit right next to me. It didn't really bother me but... it's plenty of other empty desks in the room why does she have to sit right here?

I quickly dismissed her presence getting my things ready for this class.

I was minding my business until I saw Maggie's Bitch ass walking near me, then I realized Sydel sure was sitting in her seat.

"Umm sorry but, that's my seat."

I watched on to see how this encounter would pan out.
