Chapter 20

The hot sunlight glittered into their room waking up anika from her sleep. Anika shrieked her eyes opening it wide and found anirudh awake already.She glared at him in a sleepy haze.

Anirudh through the mirror from corner of his eyes looked at anika walking towards the bathroom as a smile crept appeared on his face.

Anika bathed in few minutes and wore a black salwar. She came out of the bathroom and found anirudh dressed neatly. On the other side aravind was still asleep.

Anika just went and sat down on her bed moody. She felt so odd and awkward as anirudh was ready to go speak to her parents.

Anirudh sensed anika's silence and walked towards her. He cupped her face and both of their eyes met.

"Don't worry everything will be fine." Anirudh said, giving a reassuring kiss to anika.

Anika looked deep into anirudh's eyes starring at it, silently. She felt like staying like that just by admiring his eyes and his smile.

But she knew anirudh have to leave soon. Just then, aravind stirred awake and hugged anika from behind.

"Mamaa, dadaa yengaa poodhu." Aravind said, in a sleepy haze.

"He is going to your ammama's house." Anika replied.

"Dadaa Can I come with you." Aravind asked, innocently.

Anirudh looked at anika first and looked back at aravind.He waited for anika's command but anika remainded silent.

Aravind was excited to go his grandmother's house though his parents didn't say a word.

"If your mamaa agree then I'll take you." Anirudh said, causally.

Aravind hugged anika from behind more tightly, placed his chin on her shoulders. Anika caressed aravind's cheeks softly with a smile on her face.

"Mamaa, naa pottah." Aravind whispered.

"Sure you can go my boy but you should return back here when your dadaa leaves." Anika said, grabbing aravind into her embrace.

Aravind showed up a thumbs up cheerily and jumped down from anika's lap to get ready. With in a span of seconds, anika dressed up aravind well while anirudh was having his breakfast downstairs.

Just then, aravind's eyes glanced at his toys on the table nearby and grabbed it in his hands.

"Mamaa can I take my toys." Aravind said, showing his toys to anika.

Anika smiled and nodded her head meaning yes.

After a few moments, anirudh and aravind left the house biding a goodbye to anika.

Anika started up on with her daily routines and took care of her passion work just staying in her house.

On the other side the maid in her house helped anika to do the house chores and works.And the half the day just flew like a roller coaster ride and then anika was held up with her designing work.

Throughout the day and her work all her mind was thinking about her parents and Anirudh. She couldn't wait longer to hear the words from anirudh.

She stayed calmly with so much of hope in her.

After an hour..

Anirudh reached his house, parking his car at the porch. Happiness was overloaded on his face. With that dashing smile anirudh entered into anika's small office room.

Anika was busy designing the outcome for her models. Anirudh slowly tip-toed walking closer to her and blind folded her eyes using his hand. Anika smiled to herself in the touch of anirudh.
