Why do people pretend to be ignorant. They will no when someone is going through a tough time and still be ignorant about it. They will ask them in directly if everthing is ok.
If you know everything isn't ok tgen why ask if it is not ok!!!!! If yoy wanna talk about if then just ask straight!!!

Story time. My brothers - let's call him Ayan- friends father passed away. Ayan went to the funeral. He asked his friend concerned how hw was doing. Do you now what his friend said my father just passed a way am over the flipping moon. How do you think am doing.
Moral of the story ask how someone is coping.
