Tyler opened his eyes. Another day.
Josh was sitting in front of him, admiring him
"Cute" Josh grinned
"My turn today" He whispered, slowly uncovered Tyler from the bed sheets and took his hand, leading him to the kitchen.
"Nothing?" Tyler looked at the table slightly hopelessly, expecting to see mouth-watering food. Seeing such a clean, white counter saddened him
"Well, I hope you don't mind having a cooking session with me." Josh said, smirking
"Really?!" Tyler lightened up and felt like a child for once
Full of hope and carelessness
"Yeah" Josh grinned broadly "so what did you want? I have the recipe for anything" Josh gazed at Tyler, putting one hand on his hip
"Hmm.."
"Pancakes?" Tyler asked hopefully and Josh beamed the second he asked
"Firstly let's put the flour, eggs and milk into a jug, and then you can whisk it" Josh compromised
He carefully added all the ingridents with precision, and Tyler whisked keenly
Josh began setting up the frying pan and Tyler then poured the liquid onto the pan and watched them sizzle
"I'll do this one first just to show you" Josh smiled
Tyler tried to watch, but he just admired Josh as he smiled at the pancake forming before his eyes
Josh then put the golden pancake onto a plate and turned to face Tyler
"Okay, there's that done. Got it?" Josh asked seriously
"I guess.." Tyler said anxiously
Josh poured Tyler some liquid onto the pan this time and Tyler used a spatula to frequently unstick the sides of the pancake
"They cook quickly, huh?" Tyler asked
"Yeah" Josh added
Once the pancake was done, Tyler placed it on top of Josh's pancake
"Cool" Tyler smiled
"You can make another now. I'll prepare another plate and the sauces" Josh said
Tyler produced the last few pancakes as Josh carefully set everything out nicely
"Finished!" Tyler exclaimed
"Let's eat" Josh smiled and sat down, and Tyler proceeded

"Thanks Josh" Tyler looked at Josh happily
"No, thank you" Josh smiled
Josh went to the pan and picked it up carelessly from the side
"SHIT!" Josh shouted viciously
Tyler jumped and rushed to Josh
"You left the fucking cooker on"
Josh was holding his hand tightly
It was extremely swollen and red
"JOSH I'M SO SORRY" Tyler pleaded
"It's okay" Josh ran his hand under cold water hurriedly
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry Josh.." Tyler couldn't stop apoligizing
