Opposites Attract

Chapter 2

A few weeks later after Christmas break we finish unpacking and I'm going to have to start a new school. Yes I'm fucking terrified but I can't do anything about it.
"Beep beep beep beep!" Sounds the alarm clock as I get up turning it off. I swing my feet off the bed and look over at my window see the cute neighbor boy. I stand up hoping he didn't see me as I close the blinds. I sigh of relief and head to the shower already smelling myself and scrunching my nose.
"Ew I smell gross!" I say disgusted and start the shower as I strip. I soon come out in a towel and walk to my room. I put on my black t-shirt with the smiley from nirvana on it and some jeans with holes in the knee areas. I start doing my normal makeup look, the smokey eye and some under eyeliner with a touch of lipstick. I put on my necklace and jacket as I grab my backpack. I go to the kitchen seeing my mom passed out on the couch from doing the bills. I grab a snack and kiss her cheek softly as I walk downstairs and wait for the bus. That neighbor passes me a few minutes later.
"Hey stop for the girl dude!" A boy says with longer black hair and the same devils grin.
"You missed the bus you know that right?" He says but I can read through his smirk.
"Uh I did..? The school told me 7:50." I say and look at my phone then at him.
"Nope it comes earlier. At 7:20. Why don't you get on in and ride with us?" He says kindly and his grin turns to a friendly smile as the neighbor boy, Jared, laughs but goes along with it. I look around the car seeing two other girls, one in the front and one in the back. It's a topless car so one of the guys sits up on the back making a small amount of room and gesturing me in. I shrug and get in as the one boy wraps his arm around me.
"You didn't tell me your name cutie. I'm Caleb." He says smiling at me and removing a frozen piece of my hair from my red cheek.
"Romy." I say starting to get more comfortable.
"So how long does it usually take to get there?" I say and look at him as the girl in the front starts kissing on Jared.
"Just a little while. Hey can you knock it off you too we have a guest!" He says and looks a bit mad.
"Aye chicka I'm Dallas!" Says the man up on the back of the car.
"Did you really have to bring that Caleb? Like look at her." Says the girl in the front.
"Zoey, just because your boyfriend hasn't been giving it to you right doesn't mean you should take it out on our guests!" He says as everyone laughs and the other girl looks at me. She eyes me up and down as I smile at her and she smiles back. Soon we get to school and I get out along with everyone else.
"Thanks guys." I say as I walk off. I go into the school away from the cold and check my phone seeing it's 8:04 so I go to my locker they gave me and put my books away. I then head to my first class, English and walk in just before the bell having a small celebration in my head as I sit in the empty desk.
