I look across from me seeing a blonde girl with ice cold blue eyes. The same girl that was in the car. I slump down a bit hoping she didn't notice me. The teacher walks in and smiles looking at the students then loses his smile as he writes on the board. "BIG ASSIGNMENT." I watch him write as he finally speaks.
"Hello students. Since it's near midterms I'm going to need a 250 paged paper due by Friday. If it's late it's a zero. I've even decided to let you start in class. If you have any questions please raise your hand. Go ahead and start." He raises an eyebrow towards me and I look around making sure it's me as I smile slightly and he walks to me.
"Hello young lady, I'm Mr. André. I'm guessing you're Romy?" He says in a friendly tone as I nod.
"Since you weren't in our class part of the year just write as well as you can and I'll teach you from there alright?" He says again and walks off. I open my notebook and start writing when someone passes me a note and I look at it then the teacher and read it.
"So new girl, I see Caleb likes whatever it is about you. But listen he's got a girl so back off. Kay?" I look up and see the girl who sent it and nod. Her hair was wavy and black. It only reached her shoulders but her eyes were a deep green that looks like fresh grass. The bell rings and I get up walking to lunch as I bump into a girl. I look up turning red from embarrassment.
"Aye finally I get to meet her!" A girl says standing about my height with pink and blue hair. Her eyes were dark brown as I look her up and down.
"Ah yeah hi... I'm sorry 'bout that!" I say as I smile.
"Eh it's fine, I'm Leah wanna eat lunch together just cause? Hopefully those class rejects that you rode to school with don't steal you up." She says and laughs slightly.
"Sure I'd love to. You can tell me everything about the students here." I say as we both walk to lunch. We soon get to the café and go through grabbing our lunches. We sit down at a table as a boy comes and sits next to us talking to Leah.
"You know David Cline right? Well today during class he had a mental breakdown and started crying his eyes out. I almost feel bad for the douche." He says and starts eating as she laughs.
"Who's she?" He asks raising an eyebrow interested.
"This is Romy and this, Romy, is Anthony. He's my best friend." She says introducing us and I smile.
"Hi, Anthony and thanks for giving me the drama insight already!" I say and we all laugh as he nods. He's a shorter boy with blonde short hair that covers some of his forehead. He has blue eyes that reflect a pool.
"Alright Romy I promised to tell you who everyone is.  Alright those are the pops. They'll try to suck you up if you look good enough but then stab you in the back. Those are the freaks, they aren't even friends with each other. Those are the future rappers. The gays are there and your misfit boys are outside." She says pointing to each one. I look around then look at her. As the bell rings, onto another class. Soon school ends and I ride the bus home. As soon as I get off I see the group that drove me to school. I try to get to my house without being noticed until Caleb calls my name. I sigh and look over forcing a smile and waving as I walk to my house he runs over.
"So how was your first day, cutie? Did anyone steal you away from me?" He asks smiling and I laugh.
"It was fine thanks and nope I don't think anyone did." I say and smile back rubbing my arms.
"Good you better get inside before you freeze." He says and I nod walking inside my house and closing the door taking a deep breath and taking off my jacket.
