This chapter is for the readers who haven't forgiven me yet for killing Lilly off in my previous one shot. The next few ones will be happy as well. Or maybe not.

I'd likely rate this chapter a Pg-13. I think...

"Ifrit! The boy woke me up and proudly announced that his Papa's here. I didn't want to believe him because I know Sahib wouldn't...."

Karim barged into the room without knocking, with the boy by his side, holding his small hand in his large one. He stopped dead in his tracks.

Karim took a one millisecond glimpse of what was happening. His mouth hung ajar while his whole face reddened redder than a tomato.

"Oh."

Rikkard shot him an irritated look. Can't Karim tell he's in the process of osculating with his wife —previously temporary wife while in Egypt.

But future wife doesn't sound so bad either. It has quite a nice ring to it.

In fact they were doing more than osculating and were delving more into the mating ritual. Some clothes were already discarded and she was blushing furiously while she tried to hide behind him, desperately trying to hide her modesty. From Karim and their son of course! Why would she hide from him? He had seen it all before anyway.

Karim brought up one hand to cover the boy's eyes while he immediately turned his head sideways, eyes away from the couple's inadequately dressed state.

Good. The sight of my future wife half naked is definitely not for him to see!

"I see that you're really here Sahib..."

Karim attempted a bow but since his head was faced sideways, it was a very odd and stiff one.

"Yes. You've seen me now, you've seen too much. Now go!"

"Y...yes Sahib, of c...course Sahib, I'll be downstairs, Sahib. I'll bring the boy with me downstairs as well, Sahib."

Karim was flustered all over again and started stuttering at the reminder that he had seen his employer with his housemate in a very intimate position.

Finally he's leaving the room.

Not!

Before Karim exited, he paused as if something had occured to him. Fortunately, he remained in that position, his back facing them.

"Forgive me Sahib, but should we prepare both of your meals as well or... will you....take longer... because...the soup will grow cold if you... um... take... too long with...um..."

To save Karim from further embarrassment, and to salvage any bit of modesty she has left, Lilly replied instead.

"It's alright Karim, we'll be downstairs soon enough after we...gather ourselves together first. Tell Nancy to start preparing our food"

Rikkard's eyes snapped to her. That was the first time she spoke since Karim's intruding.

"No! Leave the soup in the pot, Karim. We'd be staying in the bedroom longer!"
