Dad,

Look, I don't know why I'm doing this. I haven't written one of these fucking letters in years.
You've missed so much of my life. I'm sixteen now, and you've never taught me anything. All my friends know what they're supposed to learn from their dads. Ben's dad taught me some things, but that's just embarrassing.
I don't even know where you are. Did you get remarried? Did you have kids? You could be dead and I wouldn't know the difference.
You might as well be dead, for all I care.
