Dad,
Mom has a boyfriend. His name is Theo and he took me to a ball game.
I remember you took me to one once, when I was four.
You caught the foul ball and got one of the players to sign it for me.
You lifted me up on your shoulders when I couldn't see over the heads of the people in front of us. You acted like my dad.
Theo brought me driving in an empty lot and helped me with math homework- he's a teacher, you know?
I don't even remember what you did.
